Does it much matter who scores the goals as long as we do? If we keep clean sheets most games, as we've become accustomed recently, we don't need to score many to carry home 3 points! I really don't get the current negativity from some after 11 years of absolute shit!

Ryan Giles will become a cult hero at Ewood IMO...a fantastic signing and I hope it's on a temp to perm basis and not just a loan. He can play anywhere down the left, has a great engine, a free-kick specialist, can pick a pass and has a wand of a left foot.

I agree with all of that and the change in policy is extremely sensible as far as the club is concerned.....it's about value for money now and future potential re-sale value, with emphasis on youth. It may not satisfy everyone, who still expect us to be making multimillion pound signings still but those days have gone for now. Who knows, in the future they could well return. But to quote Souness of old, "we have to wee with the willy we've got" (and that was under Walker Trust)!

We won the PL once and so did Leicester in more recent times......both had complete togetherness and a solid spine through the team. As do we currently........just saying like!

Clearly not many have had the pleasure of seeing our 6'4" sixteen year old centre back, Ash Phillips in action?.....he'd step up to the first team mark next week, given the opportunity to do so and would excel. He's exceptional but just one of a wealth of young talent that will come through in the next 2/5 years and are good enough.

Can play in any left sided position, front, mid or back. Has a fantastic record for assists in Championship and has been shunned in favour of the foreign influx at Molineux...a great player btw (from a mate who hales from The Black Country, is a Rover and knows his stuff)
