I did think at the time of his appointment that he was a yes man and Waggott had just gone for someone, who would just accept his lot. I find that a lot more likely than unlikely and not too sure why you think the way you are. Think Lambert and JDT as we all know they were given false promises, which is how things seem with Eustace. It is the managerial version of Maguire and O'Brien, as in promises made and then an about turn happens and it a lot more frequent than promises being kept.

As mentioned in another thread, I spoke to someone, working at a fellow championship on Wednesday and he told me that WBA approached us with regards to taking Eustace as manager and were quoted a compensation figure, that they were not prepared to pay. I fully agree that he won't be short on offers and that one tells us exactly that and he will no doubt be very miffed, if that was blocked and he now pays the price that a poor window will ensure and his reputation suffers, even a little.
