Is Jim White back on the drink?
-
I heard about that and you do yet again have to wonder.
-
I honestly don’t believe the two posters you refer to, are being deliberately evasive. If anything, they are probably excited about being able to post some news, that they are hoping is a very positive step. I understand their caution about saying too much, if they have been trusted, with as yet, inside information and sincerely hope from a number of angles, that what they are being told is genuine and achievable.
-
I read into it the same as you and do agree about how unprofessional that appears.

Fair enough, although the FIFA thing with Blatter and Plattini seems to be going that way.

Interesting and although I can see where the three groups come from, there are people, in the third group I suspect, who still go. The nothing criminal happened at the club, can be successfully argued, as no one has ever been prosecuted. However, if someone knowingly supplied me with sub standard goods, took a huge amount more commission than they were entitled too and then went to the media, crying that it wasn’t his fault that the goods were sub standard, I would be pretty keen to sue. If said person was slippery enough to get away with it, does that mean I wasn’t wronged, or that he was just a bit cleverer than me? Add to that, the probable lying in court, about being the victim of drinks being spiked, instead of just admitting your mistakes and there you probably have two. I could use many more examples of criminal behaviour, shall we say and of course, so did certain people at Fifa, when allegedly bribery was going on. Look where next years World Cup ended up!!! With billions at stake, clever people sometimes get away with things. For what it’s worth, I am not a boycotter.

All they need now, is for King Rat to spot the next Phil Jones, brewing the tea, or loading hampers into the players cars and Bingo. https://offthepitch.com/a/interview-hibs-owner-ron-gordon-scottish-football-packs-big-punch

I would put up if I could, but I genuinely have no first hand information. The two guys involved on here know, but I think they need to be given permission, to reveal it, when the time is right. I am sure they will confirm this bit, as I am not certain.
-
Two posters in here, know a lot more than me, but a possible change of direction and leadership, along with involvement from people who have a bigger connection with the club.

It seems it’s from inside the club. I have heard this a few times now from different sources, one of whom I have big trust in. Fingers crossed.

January Transfer window 2022

I would take 5 caps any day of the week, if only I had been good enough. -
I agree 100%.

I think you have been seriously miss understood there. I got what you meant.

Well here is the news. Hibs set to appoint Steve Kean to lead academy | Edinburgh News (scotsman.com)

I saw the further 9 point deduction earlier and winced for them. Just like us if the same happened, the fans will be left to pick up the pieces, of their failed owners.

I can't make my min up, if buying the STC is a good or a bad thing, to be honest. It is strange how they carry on regardless though, but surely even they must have a cut off point?
-
At some point, they may realise that the £20m the supposedly pump in each year, means the longer they stay, the more they pay and simply offload it, to stop the costs spiralling even more. No one needs to be a genius to understand that they have lost money on the venture come what may, so it comes down to their appetite to lose even more I guess.

Sometimes in life, people need to be exposed, even when on the face of it, the appear to be doing things for the greater good, but in reality they have an agenda. We have seen certain celebrities, jailed over the last few years for their miss demeanours, but should we have ignored what they did and just carry on being entertained by them?

Attendances: A cause for concern
lraC replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Just a thought, but why didn't they offer a discounted ticket for the Birmingham game, if both PNE and Brum were bought at the same time? If both were available at say £45 but on their own they were £30 would that not have attracted more to both games? -
If people did follow that track, then there would be even more destruction at our clubs. Just look down the road at Blackpool and what their fans achieved. Does any one on here, believe they should have ignored what was going on and just carried supporting the team regardless. Although we are still saddled with our owners, what some people have done to bring it to the attention of the wider population, I applaud, as we would almost certainly be in an even worse position, had we also gone down the route of ignoring everything, bar the happenings on the pitch.
-
I guess some are voting with their feet, but I will always want to support BRFC on the pitch. I hate what has gone on, but in the case of most players, they are helpless, just like the fans are, when it comes to past issues as well as current issues. Personally I have to follow from afar, as I live abroad, but buy every game I can and still consider myself a big Rovers fan.
-
Exactly as was demonstrated last week with the Sky facilitated interview of our former manager, who was one again, trotting out, how he was victimised. I don’t think many Rovers fans have much sympathy for him, yet the people who allowed it to happen, seem to be off the hook.

I think some people have forgotten what went on. In some quarters, the reappearance of some fan made banners, has gone down badly, particularly on Twitter. People seem to have swallowed the badly advised line. Certain people have torn the heart out of our club. The FA were given plenty of evidence to support wrong doing at the club and as the banner stated, the FA allowed us to die, by doing FA about it. I speed read some of Glen Mullans blog this weekend to remind myself of some of it and I am aware of more than most. The people at Kentaro and Crescendo we’re far too cosy with the FA for them to want to investigate. Serious things have come out recently, about the people at the very top of world football and although plenty were happy to cover these up to, we are now seeing what has gone on. Far too many greedy people have got away with far too much, but I believe, it will eventually come out. In the meantime, for those who want to swallow the badly advised line, carry on, as I for one, never have and never will trust these owners,
