It’s sad really when a fleeting stint at the club by him, has a loyal fan feeling like this. He should be ashamed of himself.

I thought we were the better side second half V WBA. We have played 1/3 of the teams in the league now, so the table is beginning to take shape. The next 5 will define the season I think and if we are still in the play off positions, we have to think, we are in with a shout. Think Coyle’s Burnley side, as the unexpected can happen. Either way, let’s enjoy it, as we sure would be all be downbeat had the start been poor.

There were questions being asked of the players early doors, due to the lack of experience. Maybe the FFP restraints have helped us and the clear out in the summer, was a master stroke. I love it when we have players from the academy, make it into the first team and go on to be a success. It is early days for some of them, but the youth, do look promising. I spoke to a youth team coach a few weeks ago, who promises me he is working with the best crop of youngsters, he has ever coached. Hopefully that means, we have more to come. I guess that shows the sale of the STC would be selling the goose that lays the golden eggs, as if there is a way out of the mess we have, under the surface, this could be it.

It’s one of them, that you normally beg for when a player is on a barren run. Just let one hit him on the arse and defect into the net to get him going. With this one though, it was a one two, with two of their defenders, a miss kick to dummy the keeper and then another defender, kicks it against him. A joke goal, but they all count. Given this was his second of the day and the platform for his hat trick, it must have him buzzing with confidence. With 7 for the season now too, it’s a hell of a start. With the fee we paid for him, surely it is now time to break the wage structure and tie him down? If he does go on to confound the bookmakers 1000/1 odds and get 20 he will have a very big price tag on his head in May.

Probably his best game in a Rovers shirt today. I’ve seen glimpses, but saw it constantly today.

Over the moon with that especially Brereton. Loved Buckley today too and how much difference has a fit Ayala made? Hope we can keep this going, as there is some belief again and some new heroes emerging. Perhaps a bit of strength in depth too, as a couple still to return, including Dack and Wharton.

He was so unofficial, he worked through the night free of charge. I’m surprised he hasn’t been knighted, he was so charitable.

On a smaller scale the same happened at Bolton. the had a trip to the fourth tier on the back of their sale to a questionable individual, that of course the powers that deemed to be fit and proper. Some people may feel the deserved it, but put all rivalries aside, even our friends down the M65 when thinking of this, as it is a total disgrace.

I think there is sympathy on here for that and plenty of agreement too. What you have mentioned there about what happens when the money men have had there feed, in a bizarre way applies to us too. Although to those on the outside, we have rich owners, who fund the club, the real villain, sailed off into the sunset with his son, many moons ago. So far as I know he announced his retirement too, so perhaps his last feed, allowed him to hibernate with a full belly, for the rest of his life.

Me neither. It will have been a case of Rovers TV brings in more revenue and that was the only consideration, not the impact it has on lifelong supporters.

Looks like Waggot has the power to stop life long Rovers fans from using a service, all other clubs have access to. No wonder fans are leaving in their droves, when we have a CEO who cares so little.

I read that a while ago and my thoughts on it are, that the two big shareholders, have stuffed the club big time. I think relegation is coming and see a mass sale of players, when that happens. As for the salt and chips comment, he has a point, but just the one.

Perhaps Waggot will spout this important information tonight on his radio interview. Probably be justifying the cost of the beer, chips and pies though.

Attendances: A cause for concern
lraC replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
People simply are not stupid, but Waggot thinks Rovers fans are. The totally ridiculous match day prices, are clearly putting people off, as did the cost of the season tickets. Add to that, the fact that no one came out to even mention the managers failings, after another death spiral last year. The owners are simply neglecting the club and as I have posted before, whils they are here, the club is in serious trouble. Until they sell and someone comes in who cares, this downward trajectory will continue. Where it will end, who knows, but over 10,000 fans have had enough and the numbers now attending, hammer this home. -
After 24 hours to reflect on the result, I go back to the best form of defense is attack. If we had come out for the second half, with the mentality that it was 0-0 gone for the jugular, we would have won the game. Its down to the manager to ensure the attitude is right, so come what may, that’s the reason we didn’t kill the game off. Luton were second best and we simply gave them the impetus to peg us back. O could probably stomach it, but know that lessons won’t be learnt and we will go on to do it again, in the near future.

He did and wants to go again.

Took me seven year old Grandson to his first ever game, so we had three generations of Rovers fans at the match. I thought the first 20 mins were poor, but the two goals livened things up and at half time, it felt comfortable. it was clear that the third goal was going to be crucial and we did look like me might get it. Once they scored it felt inevitable that we would throw at least two points away. I thought the ref getting injured helped them not us and sure enough the dreaded equaliser came. I thought both defences were poor and also very nervous. Dolan was quite rightly man of the match and despite his pace, I think we have a good footballer in Pickering.

The first game ever for my Grandson today. He is aged 7 and been brainwashed by me. Hope we can get a win for him.
