It says it all really that Ken Anderson passed their fit and proper and it is looking like Bassini, is being lined up to be their next owner. Some very fit and proper people around our game.

I have a mate who is a Wigan fan and he is convinced they are going down. It might be worth a punt at 7/1 but I think Rotherham will go.

Rovers vs Stoke City, 06/04/18, Ewood Park, 3pm Kick Off.

I have worried about what you state in your last sentence, from the very beginning, with these owners. Lots of stuff has never made sense and I immediately think back to the likes of Salgado being left out and Nelsen being on traction one minute and playing for Spurs the next. -
On the basis that the bookies never get it wrong, here are the latest relegation odds, taken from the Sky bet website. Rotherham 4/5, Reading 9/4, Wigan 7/1, Millwall 10/1, Birmingham 40/1, QPR, 40/1 and Rovers 500/1. For anyone really worried, £50 on that should settle the nerves.

No that I want us to, but I think we could lose all of our remaining games and still not go down. Ipswich and Bolton are already gone and I can't see Rotherham, getting 48 points from where they are.
-
Bolton have Boro at home on Tuesday and Derby away on Saturday. They could be coming to Ewood already relegated. The big questions is, will we have suffered another two defeats by then. I don't fancy us at Forest on Saturday and Derby at home could go either way.

EFL have been made aware of fans not being allowed into their stadium and have stated that they are working with the club, to ensure the games still go ahead. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/17544947.wanderers-fans-will-not-be-allowed-in-stadium-for-next-two-games/

Looks like this with Bolton's stadium being closed is irreversible and it is the next two games, V Ipswich and Boro. they are also in court again tomorrow, facing a winding up order and their potential buyer has pulled out, again. It is looking pretty serious for them.

I can't help but think of Myles Anderson, when I read this. I hope Balaji isn't on Sky Sports news any time soon, crying that this guy was hounded out by the fans, without being given a chance, as he is good enough for any premier league team, bar the top four!!!

Kean, somehow still getting jobs in football

Its a pointless exercise calling the National Radio stations. I once called Talk **** after we had beaten Sunderland at home and moved out of the bottom 3 briefly. They hardly let me get my point across about King Rat and his management. I stated that I would guarantee relegation and the presenters were gushing about him and blaming the fans for the abuse he was getting. They were insisting that he was doing a good job in the circumstances and would keep us up. I don't recall them calling me back to apologise, after we did go down as I predicted. -
They probably are a bit at fault and possibly stupid too, but who knows what has gone on behind the scenes? I did read something about Dale Vince trying to keep the lad, as he was their top scorer, but his head had been turned and it was the last day of the loan window. I guess it is the usual, money talks, the grass is greener and all that, but on this occasion, dark forces appear to have been at work. I also think he was near the end of his contract too, so could have gone for nothing in the summer.

It seems to be all down to finances. Anderson has said it was agreed that the first instalment would be made on the receipt of some central TV funds in January. Dale Vince the FGR chairman, says that simply isn't true and also says he has had to pay the lads wages as Bolton haven't. I don't think the player has torn up any trees, but for what they have paid for him, is steady enough
-
I think it was 4 instalments of £250k some possibly based on certain outcomes, avoiding relegation and a number of goals perhaps. I am guessing there, but whatever has happened the poor lad himself has apparently signed up for a house in the Bolton area and been promised much bigger wages then he was on. If it was a deliberate stunt, it is a bad one. There are some other things came out of it too, with Bolton fans being invited to a Forrest Green Home game with Bury in Feb and the Chairman has been selling Bolton fans T Shirts with the words No Ken do printed on them. It is quite funny actually some of the stuff on the Bolton News Website, a real war of words between them. Seems like a pretty dodgy character Ken Anderson.

Bolton loaned a striker called Doidge from Forrest Green on a loan to buy deal, same as Brereton with us. It was a deal worth up to £1m apparently. According to what was reported, Bolton didn't pay his wages for the last 4 months, so Forrest Green had to pay them. Then this week, they were due to pay the first instalment of the fee and didn't pay that either. After that the owner of Bolton Ken Anderson and the Forrest Green Chairman, got into a war of words about it, and the player has now returned to Forrest Green, who are now threatening breach of contract. All sorts of allegations have followed and there is a fair bit about it on the Bolton News website. Looks like Bolton are in big trouble and have two winding up orders currently served on them one from HMRC.

Sunderland Netflix documentary

The wanted to have some, other than Norman, that they could name part of the ground after. -
I loved those days and it didn't matter that we were skint or failed to get promoted to the top flight. When I look back at old programmes now, or old pictures, the nostalgia washes over me and I long for that feeling of spirit and togetherness. I might just be getting old, but it just doesn't feel like that any more.

This could well have been started by a firm of ambulance chasers looking for a way forward with the PPI miss selling coming to an end next years. Probably nowhere near as many claimants, but mind boggling figures none the less.

Compare today’s pen to this one, that wasn’t given. The incident is one minute from the end. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ONC_IWg2Vx8

The silence is till deafening, despite this unexpected spending spree. I never for one minute, expected us to spend £6m plus on a player this season. we still have no idea of what is happening with the debt and what ambitions Venkys now have. I do wonder if something has happened in the background that we have as fans haven't heard about.

Sorry for the intrusion on this guys, hopefully I can be forgiven!! My sister has made the post below on Facebook and I would be really grateful, if anyone could help me by signing this. One of her fellow cancer sufferers has set the petition up. Hi everyone. Please will you help me by signing and sharing this petition. I am 55 years old, married with 2 teenage daughters and have terminal lung cancer. I have been treated with pembrolizumab for 18 months. My cancer has been stable whilst on this treatment and I have absolutely no side effects whatsoever (unlike chemotherapy). Unfortunately my treatment will stop in December. There is no clinical reason for this. It is all down to NHS funding, however, if I had skin cancer I could get this treatment indefinitely. This just seems so unfair. Thanks for your help. I see the comments are blocked this story in the Telegraph. They have bottled it have they, as they know people will post comments that Jerome, might take exception to.

It makes you wonder, how long this can continue for? Will something eventually have to give?

All clubs have this done to them, as it is just a fact of life after the Bosman ruling. Charlton have a problem, as they now have a player, whose head has been turned and now wants to leave. There is one thing for sure, he will be gone, before the transfer window closes. Hopefully it will be to us and I see a small adjustment in what we have offered, with add ons and he will be our player.
-
I think Ken Anderson, is a chancer, who blames everyone, but himself, when things go wrong. I can see them having some serious problems this year. Last year was bad enough.
-
Is that the whole spend Josh, with wages and agents fees, or the kitty for transfers? Any chance of us losing anyone?
