  1. Stewards did threats that yesterday apparently.
  2. We know he hates the publicity, so let’s get some of these displayed around the ground.
  3. Maybe, which I suppose shows contempt for the fans, who paid and therefore contributed their bit to the club.
  4. I watched the game on Rovers TV from my home in Spain. I found it a bit strange on commentary that it was stated that it looked like the pitch had benefited from some work being done on it. I don’t know if it has or not, but given that the supporters who watch the game that way have all paid a subscription and it is Rovers own channel, why were the commentators not told either way, so that they could pass this on to the fans? Surely it isn’t a secret.
  5. It’s certainly worth getting it out there, as it can’t do any harm bringing this to the attention of anyone prepared to listen. Maybe the coalition can add a sub text to the recent press release.
  6. https://medium.com/@luiskentt826/chris-farnell-a-case-study-in-ethical-failure-at-the-heart-of-english-football-ad2f394d2533
  7. If anyone said anything wrong about Rovers when I was at school aged 7 it usually ended in a fight. We were shit and in the third division but they are my home town club and I have always loved the underdog. if only I could have met up with the Liverpool, Leeds, Man U and Chelsea fans amongst us in 1995 some 23 years later, that would have been something.
  8. Thanks mate, I really appreciate it.
  9. Thats a bit harsh actually as plenty subscribe to Rovers TV and watch from abroad. I live in Spain and simply can’t get to many matches, but pay my subscription and watch that way.
  10. Taking what was said before a ball was kicked, it was suggested that we had a stronger squad than last year. In total crap, as we know.
  11. It’s interesting what Elliott Bennett says on this, as it’s happened with other players and probably current ones https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14QpZLD42Yi/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  12. For those wavering, reach out to some of the Bury fans, who got on board with the protests when it was too late. There are plenty about who will tell you their story. Act now to ensure we do not become another Bury, as it can happen, despite what some may believe. Bury FC: Anger and tears at League One club before EFL decision - BBC Sport Missing one match or even a few, is more important than just attending due to some sort of duty, or feeling that you are a super fan. These are extraordinary times and your club needs you to do the right thing, for the greater good.
  13. One thing to add to that, is do the people who had the same stance when Bury FC regret not making every effort, to oust their owner, before what became of them, was too late. I know many will think it can't happen to Rovers, but what if it did, would the super fans have failed, or would they just have supported the club, come what may?
  14. Looks like there is a bit of traction in Asia.
  15. I priced them too and it wouldn’t cost a lot to do it.
  16. Grass and roots. Now that's so very appropriate.
  17. Where is he saying that? Unlikely to happen as we know, so will it now be his turn to say enough is enough and resign?
  18. It has been confirmed that the attendance for the Oxford game, including away fans was 6380. That's how far we have fallen and given the club want to massage the figures, they are clearly concerned about it.
  19. Agreed. Lets get it out there that the powers that be are so embarrassed about how the attendances have been decimated, that they are prepared to manipulate the figures.
  20. Granted some won't want to get behind this at either match, but what about the coalition trying this? Operation Probe (Preston Overflowing Bristol Empty) We call on all Rovers fans past and present to make a stand towards the Owners Venky’s by showing the impact they have had on the supporter base since their takeover in 2015. Since that fateful day, not only have they seen the team plummet from the top half of the Premier League and presided over a fall to a season in the third tier, but they have also seen the crowds plummet too, with a reported 5,500 approximately in attendance for the recent Championship fixture V Oxford United. On 20/02/26 Rovers entertain Local rivals Preston North End and we would like to target that game as operation fill the ground. We ask that as many supporters as possible attend this game and on 15 and 85 Minutes, rise as one to salute our Number one supporter Jack Walker with a loud and proud chorus of there’s only one Jack Walker. Following on from this, to show the owners and the wider football community, how these owners has decimated the fanbase, we then ask that as many as possible boycott the Bristol City Game, which is the following home fixture, a few days later. The contrast in attendances between these fixtures will highlight what the fan base think of their ownership and will hopefully give them food for thought, with regards to giving up the ghost and selling the club. The damage is now done, so we implore them to sell up and leave and these two matches will go along way towards showing them the strength of feeling, in the fan base.
  21. Get it out there that we are going to show a contrast between support and boycott. I am sure that will garner some media attention and highlights it’s not just shit support, it’s an ownership problem. is it something the coalition will test the water with?
