  1. I might hide behind the sofa for this one, it does feel important.
  2. Adam Owen is at Ewood, due to his connections with the agency that still darkens our door.
  3. Flood lights is very apt here.
  4. One is called Mickey the other is called Mouse.
  5. Looks highly likely to be off again this, but postponed rather than abandoned. If all other fixtures in the area are on, it will put more spotlight on the club and added pressure hopefully.
  6. This is the first time, I have heard anything from him, that I respect and fait play to him. Over to you Suhail
  7. At least their matches are not being abandoned.

  9. The Oxford game might be a bit too soon, but what about a rubber duck infestation of the pitch? Given this pitch problem has hit the headlines, it feels like an opportunity to raise awareness that we should not pass up. Looks like we could get around 3,000 for around £350
  10. Cheap as chips, so let’s get our orders in. https://share.google/images/ur1aV6OGSPeJ4F4Dm
  11. It’s a perfect opportunity now that this has hit the headline with the waterlogged pitch. Everyone takes a small rubber duck into the ground and throws them onto the pitch.
  12. I don’t think he would do it for one minute, but imagine him resigning and claiming for constructive dismissal, on the basis that the club, can’t provide the tools for him to do the job (knackered drains) so he can’t work under these circumstances any longer.
  13. It’s always someone else’s fault, so who do they blame this time? What are the odds on this happening again this season and next time, if we are losing instead of winning, are the team on the receiving end, going to just accept their lot?
  14. Okay, I will give you a scenario, hypothetical granted, but not beyond all realms of possibility. Let’s choose Middlesbrough as an example. They are leading 0-2 and the same happens again, so due to our lack of investment on our pitch, the match gets abandoned and a replay is ordered that we go on to win, costing them 3 points, which in turn, costs them a place in the premier league. Do you think they should just shrug their shoulders and sit back and count the cost, of them missing out on the premier league?
  15. I honestly do not believe talk of further punishment is daft. It’s the clubs fault alone this, so why should they get away with it?
  16. It will be someone else’s fault. Blame the fans, blame God, but never a hands up and an apology for getting things badly wrong.
  17. If the EFL have anything about them, they will force Rovers to refund home and away fans the ticket price, travel costs and any other out of pocket expenses. To ignore this and allow the club to get away Scot free is not good enough.
  18. I know it’s my own club, but a points deduction is needed here. Professional tier two club who can’t provide a suitable pitch, need to be made an example of. I only hope this leaves the owners with the embarrassment for the cost cutting.
  19. Cheers Tony and for everyone else’s messages. Tomorrow will probably be the toughest day of my life, so the messages and out pouring will help.
  20. Hi Josh. I didn’t know you knew Luke, but it’s amazing who does. The tributes have been overwhelming. Hope the applause can be heard for him at Ewood tomorrow
  21. Thanks mate. Your words mean a lot.
  22. Tomorrow the funeral take place on my late Stepson Luke Harden, who sadly last his life in tragic circumstances, in the early hours of 01/11/2025. Although, not a huge football fan, or a Rovers fan, the first outing I had with Luke, was to a Rovers match on Boxing day 2003 having met his Mum and my future wife a few weeks earlier. Luke is seen up and down the country, at football grounds, as he was a model and amongst other things, he modelled Marc Darcy Suits, who have an association with WBA and Leicester City, amongst others. It would give me and my family (a few Rovers fans amongst us) great comfort, if a round of applause could be arranged on the 37th minute, to mark his age when he passed. Living in Spain, I watch most of the Rovers matches on Rovers TV as I pay the overseas subscription, but will not be either watching on TV or at the ground tomorrow, as the funeral and wake, will go on later into the evening. I will watch the match back, at a later date and would really appreciate any little tribute to him if that is possible. Hopefully we will win the game and I can raise a glass to Luke and a Rovers Victory. RIP Luke, you are sadly missed. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/25604410.trial-date-set-pair-accused-murdering-luke-harden/ https://www.instagram.com/p/DQl0Qc8lU4L/?hl=en-gb
