didnt know that Ste B, a good trip to Ankara apart from the bloody early start home.

The club have run trips to every Euro away so far. Also trips run from travel Agency in Blackburn. Depending on where the games are it is often easy and loads cheaper to do your own thing.

I also notice that Stanley have decided to ban drums from next season. I hope other clubs follow thier lead -
I also dont think thet Mclaren will do a good job, he is def a yes man for the FA. On saying that I dont think there is currently an Englishman who is ideally suited for the job. I believe they have been pressured into appointing an Englishman after the Scolari cock up. If Rovers had spent the money that Mclaren has (also in wages on free transfers), I would have not been happy with the end product apart from the current European run. I hear that Boro would like Sven as their new manager, good luck to them.

Dont recall any of us getting stabbed on the trip to Ankara, plenty of Ale and laughter but certainly no stabbings !

Lets start of somewhere pleasant and easy to get to like Eire or Gretna, give us all a chance to save up for next few games. Never been to Albania !!

the electronic entry systema also packed in in the Blackburn end but they refused to open the gates. Many grumpy fans missed the first 10 mins of the game. -
I may be wrong as I was watching the match, but I am sure I saw an advert on the big screen advertising 2006/2007 season tickets at this seasons price if bought before the end of April. Did anyone else see this? If i saw right why havent existing season ticket holders been mailed and i see nothing in the programme. Was i hallucinating?

All we can do is email / Phone Rovers, email/ phone the telegraph phone local radio and tell them all we are fed up of being mucked about . Hopefully common sense will prevail.

Totally inept performance by Uriah Rennie, can someone explain to me why we were not given a penalty when Lehmann pushed Reid to the floor. Rennie booked Lehmann so he obviously saw the incident, a foul in the area is a penalty in my eyes even if the game has been stopped. If we were about to take a free kick and a defender blatantly pushed our striker to the floor then a penalty has to be awarded . Why not in this case? -

God i enjoyed my trip to ewood tonight, i hate them nearly as much as the dingles and at times tonight they looked as good as our claret friends, they were at times comical and we made them pay for once. They have to be the poorest United team in years Fergie lost the plot when he fell out with golden balls. hjope Wigan do them at Cardiff and they win xxxx all. As for that bloody ferdinand call him world class he is a clown, hope after this performance he doesnt have a drug test in the morning And them cheecy cockneys kept singing small town near xxxxxxx, well if we are they a just a xxxxxxxx hamlet somewhere near bognor bloody regis. xxxx me this beers good Jordan good to see you befor the game -

Whats fat sam on about when he says the sending off and bad refereeing enticed the notlob fans to climb over a fence. What fence did they climb over ? If its any thing to do with this incident in the Riverside why did it kick off ages after the sending off. God i hate them nearly as much as the dingles. Good job i dont sit in the riverside i would have probably been nicked and the wife would have given me a slap. -

I'd be more worried about the reputation of the club being dragged trough the mud due to Souness' agent connections.... 373967[/snapback] So would i . Didnt a few of the transfers in that era come from the same agent. And I dread to think who acted as agent for Ciccio ! -

I couldnt agree more, -
I was in Blues Bar when Sky announced it was off. I went straight outside and told people buying tickets at the ticket office. Ticket Office staff said no its def on and carried on selling tickets. No official announcement over the tannoy that the game was off. I have been to Blackburn when it has been colder and match played. I really think we should get our act together better and call the ref in earlier, saves wasted time for everyone.

[Archived] Poll - Falling Attendances.
sausagemandog replied to Tris's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Thats very debatable, I live 2 miles from the Bradford/ Leeds boundary. For me to get to Ewood its 46 miles, for me to get to Manchester City centre its 52 miles and Breezeblock its 49 miles. You quoted Elland Rd which is just by the motorway system which the Manchester grounds are closer to. So from many parts of Leeds, Ewood is definetly the closest. -
I think Rovers missed Lily yesterday, his work rate alone forces the other team into errors as they have no time on the ball, his work rate also lifts the team and the crowd. Kuqi is in the same mould not the most tallented, but cant recall when I have seen a rovers player want the ball as much as this guy, he is pure raw hunger for the game and to do well. For the second goal yesterday, I could imagine if Dickov had gone for that ball, Kuqi would have picked him up put him on his shoulder and then put the ball in the net, thats how much he wanted it. He also seems to get into more goal scoring positions than our other strikers, now he has a brace his confidence will soar. He also has pace and wins the ball in the air for flick ons, i am looking forward to him and Bellamy playing together as they both have pace .
