Finance always an issue, and the signing of former Gooner John Radford seemed to unbalance the team, and off he went to the big city club somewhere in the Midlands. Fondly remembered by Rovers fans, thoughts as always with his family.

I grew up watching Bob Willis on the BBC, playing for England in his pomp. Headingley was awesome. I mimicked his run, and "style". One of a kind. Loved his wry humour. Obviously well thought of. RIP, and thoughts with your family.
