  1. ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Bentley, Reid, Savage, Emerton, Sinama-Pongolle, Bellamy. WOW! Hughes really does read this forum...
  2. Entertainment wise YES, quality wise NO...
  3. Love it! Hope they all sign it, but surely Hughes will have a "can move to ManU" clause in his contract..
  4. Just wondering, is the Jack Walker stand, lower central a good place to be seated? (good veiw, not a whole lot of empty seats around you)
  5. Just seen the goals, well taken both of them. His finishing skills is looking sharp..
  6. I'm planning on coming over for the Liverpool game as I can get very cheap plane tickets to Manchester (£60). Just wondering if anyone would care to answer some questions: 1. Is it only at the Blackburn End Lower there is a decent atmosphere and loads of people? (do not want to be seated somewhere with noone around me) 2. If so, how do I ensure that I do NOT get a ticket two feet from the drummers? (Do not want to get a serious hearing problem just yet) 3. Where do home fans meet up before kick off? And after (if we win)? 4. Are supporters allowed to bring digital video cameras into the stadium? 5. Any idea what a cat A+ game would cost at the Blackburn End? For the record I'm not some sorry geek who is coming over all by himself with his video camera..
  7. It will surely be a tough game this, and I really hope Hughes doesnt make the same mistake like the WBA game (right after beating ManU) and picking Tugay from the start. This will be a high pace game where Tottenham will do their best trying to close us down as fast as possible, therefore Reid should start in the centre, not Tugay. Its a shame that MGP wont be playing, because we can't play both Peter and Bentley wide as they dont offer much in defense. Line up should be: Friedel Neill - Todd - Nelsen - Gray Bentley - Reid - Savage - Emo Bellamy - Pongo
  8. Over the last 10 premier league matches we have gained an average of 2.2 points a game. If we can keep it up until the end of the season we should finish with a total of 67-68 points. Will that be enough to get that so important 4th place? Total points of teams finishing 4th in recent years: 2005: Everton 61p 2004: Liverpool 60p 2003: Chelsea 67p 2002: Newcastle United 71p 2001: Leeds United 68p 2000: Liverpool 67p Given that the Premier League seems more even now days (Chelsea and Sunderland excluded) I think 65p would ensure 4th place..
  9. Don't get cocky Kamy..
  10. now we just need about 10 000 more drummers and we will have a quite decent crowd at Ewood...
  11. This will surely be a very interesting game, but I just can not see us winning this one, hope I'm wrong. Our defense against Sunderland was NOT good, and if we keep making mistakes at the back then a team like Arsenal will take advantage of that. Hope Henry gets a tough time against the Real defense tonight, wouldn't mind him not playing against us. Our line up should be: Friedel Neill - Zurab - Nelsen - Gray Reid - Tugay - Savage - Mgp Bellamy - Bentley (if Dickov aint a 100% match fit) Bench: Todd, Pongo, Emo, Dickov, Enckelman Now with all our players back in action we seem to have a pretty strong team with a quality bench as well..
  12. Haven't seen the injury myself, anyone got a vid of it or something?
  13. Another make or break game? Seems like they all are at this stage of the season. I saw Arsenal against Liverpool and man did they look poor. I can't believe how bad they have gotten in the last couple of years..
  14. Tugay aint my favorite player but today he was as good as he's ever been, quality. He doesnt last 90min though..
  15. Looks like its back to playing crap again Everton get a man sent off after eight minutes and we still can't manage to create a enough chances to get a goal. This just aint good enough!
  16. I don't understand why everyone is so suprised about D'Allesandro going to Pompey. How many of you watch his team Wolfsburg on a regular basic? Very few if any I would imagine. I'm pretty sure its because he was awsome in Football Manager...
  17. Looks like Peter might start as MGP hasn't trained all week due to a knee injury.
  18. Seeing Everton getting trashed against Chelsea (not a suprise by any means) and they have to play two games in 3 days, I really expect us getting away with something on saturday!
  19. Hopefully our starting line up would be: Friedel Neill Nelson Zurab Gray Emo Reid Savage Pedersen Bentley Bellamy Everton 0 Rovers 1
  20. Sounds like we are really poor today, and I must say its quite disappointing to be played of the park by a team like WBA..
  21. Fair enough. I expect the club to negotiate a new contract with Hughes in the summer..
  22. Why bring this up Mr.Williams?!
  23. Todays line up: ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Reid, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Kuqi. Subs: Enckelman, Emerton, Mokoena, Johnson, Peter. MAN UTD: Van der Sar, Neville ©, Evra, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha, Vidic, Richardson, Fletcher. Subs: Howard, van Nistelrooy, Park, Silvestre, Pique. I have no clue how ManU's midfield will look, but it seems like Ferdinand is going to take the central role alongside Fletcher.
  24. Rovers 3 ManU 1 Kuqi x2 Savage Att: 24800
