  1. Agree, Etherington will have a field day against Reid, this aint looking good at all! This lineup reminds me of a couple of years ago when we played with Hignett and Ward up front...
  2. ROVERS: Friedel, Reid, Neill, Khizanishvili, Gray, Emerton, Tugay ©, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Dickov. Subs: Enckelman, Kuqi, Mokoena, Jansen, Thompson. A totally shocking lineup this!! First off, Neill is playing centre half, oh dear. Second, why is Bentley on the pich and not Kuqi? Looks like another 4-5-1. I was optimistc in my prediction, but having seen this line up we would be lucky to even get a point.. Going to watch it live on tv today, not looking forward to it! WHY IS BENTLEY PLAYING!!!! HE's CRAP, HE's CRAP, HE's CRAP!!! EDIT: Reid as rightback? Why doesnt Hughes play Matteo in the centre and Neill as right back? Has Hughes lost the plot just like Souness , I hope not...
  3. We knew he was injury prone, but nevertheless a big blow for us. We should still play 4-4-2 though, using Kuqi and Dickov if both are available. Now we can all see how desperate we need another quality striker as not even a Championship side would be happy having those two up front...
  4. ManU will finish 2nd in the PL, wait and see. They will surely invest in a few players come january if they are having a bad spell.
  5. I didn't mean to be. Todd, Keown, Peacock, Ruddock, Adams all in the same category, some better than others..
  6. You got to admit though that this season has been a poor one for Toddy. It doesn't really matter what he did last season when he continue to make silly mistakes this year. Hopefully Zurab and Nelsen will manage to help us keeping a clean sheet in our next two games, which we should win..
  7. Maybe, but that says more about the rest of our players then it does about Todd.
  8. Isn't this his second red card of the season? If I remember correctly he got a 3 match ban for headbutting someone.. There are alot of players who have played well and then suddently started to play worse and worse.. Todd is a typical old fasion English centre half, no brains, no pace, no skill with the ball, just playes on his physique..
  9. Having been alomost spot on with my latest predictions, here is your chance at making some quids. Rovers 5 West Ham 2 Att: 17 452 Get down to Ewood people, this is going to be a cracker of a match, end-to-end stuff. Hughes will bring Savage, Emerton and Kuqi back in the starting XI.
  10. And we paid the price, Reid - Tugay cant play together in the centre..
  11. Yes, I've seen all the highlights. It should not have been a red card, but I still can't stand the guy..and he is an idiot
  12. I knew it was a poor line up, but 2-0 down, with the idiot sent off..oh dear, big mistake by Hughes not playing Zurab!!
  13. Agree, now the ###### stupid idiot Todd has just gotten himself sent off. Why people like this arsehole I can NOT understand!!!
  14. Are we going 4-5-1 again? With the results we have gotten playing 4-4-2 I do not like this line up at all! Why isnt' Kuqi starting the game after his performance against Charlton?! If I had a bad feeling about this match in the first place, then it aint getting better seeing this line up....Expect us to be 1-0 down at HT...
  15. After our recent home performances and the game against Charlton I really expect us to win. But, I'm afarid we won't.. Rovers 1 Everton 2 Hope I'm wrong..
  16. Just seen Thompsons strike! What a goal that was, its a loooong range goal in the top corner. For those who went to the game, anyone got to give Bentley a hug when he scored?
  17. Great result last night, I never thought we could come back 2-0 down with 15 minutes or so left. Looking forward seeing the goals later today.. As for Savage, the problem with him is that he runs out of position way to often. If we are up against a good passing team then this could cause us serious problems. Another player who likes to drift out of position is Thompson, so I will be mighty nervous if I see both players in the next starting line up. Thompson has a cracking shot though, thats his one of his trademarks.
  18. I saw that, and now we can all see how he does in his natural position, I still think he's crap though. Please prove me wrong you sissy...
  19. Anyone remember what happend after we beat Birmingham 4-0 away in PL, then we played them a few weeks later in the Cup. I hope we don't get a replay of that at the Vally. Charlton 2 Rovers 2 Might well go to penalties this one..
  20. Trundle? Doesn't he play in league one or something? I remember seeing him in a FA-cup game once, looked decent but won't hack it in the PL.
  21. I really hope we can bring in some quality in January. We all see how a quality player like Bellamy effects the team, imagine if we had three players with that kind of ability! I'm going to renew my subscription at Rovers World in January as I would like to contribute to us signing McCarthy, £39.99 should cover a cheap Ryan Air planeticket from Portugal...
  22. Kugi did well for us today, and made space for our other attacking players. I thought he was as good as he has ever been for us, even though that doesn't say much. Bellamy looks very good, and he is by far our best player. If we can't get some quality players who can pass him the ball and can understand his intellegent style of play, then I'm sure he won't stick around for to long. We played well today, and the goals they got was pure pure class! Any team would have let in those goals. On another day we might have got something from the game! Bottom line though, quality always wins in the end. We have two maybe three players in our team which are real quality, they have at least 7-8...
  23. I would rather see Joe Garner on the bench at Charlton than Matt Jansen, he surely can not do much worse, and he at least knows where the goal stands!
  24. I must admit it's a bit disappointing that non of our young home-grown players have made some sort of impact since Hughes became our manager. I remember how good it felt when McEveley was having a great game at OT, when Gallagher got the winner at St.James' and of course when Stead (not home grown, but young and exciting) saved us from relegation. Jonathan Douglas also made some decent performances the same season. When I as an Norwegian feels the "buzz" having a homegrown player involved, then there must be at least as exciting for a Blackburn born supporter to experience the same thing! If we could get some of our young players more involved, and of course they have to bring something to the party, then I'm sure that in itself would making the trip down to Ewood more tempting. I think its very important for a local, small town club like blackburn to have at least one or two home-grown players involved with the first team. I hope to see at least one "unknown" youngster on the bench in our game against Charlton in the Carling Cup!
  25. Arsenal are looking stronger now than they did at the start of the season. They might not have the best defense in the league, but with Henry in shape up front they will always create chances! Our only hope of getting three points at Highbury is an injury to Henry and Van Persie in their Champions League match against FC Thun tonight. I'm sure we will score at Highbury though, but they will score more I'm afarid. Arsenal 3 Rovers 1 Henry x2, Van Persie Bellamy
