How bad do we need a new striker?! Whatever we manage to get from Ferguson should be spent on a quality striker. I know Thompson was very poor today, but I do belive we can manage with Savage, Thompson, Tugay and Flitty for the rest of the season.

Did you see Newcastle's first goal against Liverpool? Kluivert clearly benefitted from being offside... I'm sure if V.Nistelrooy had scored that goal on Old Trafford it would have stood.

If Hughes can bring a new striker in, then yes that would be a great idea. Dickov aint that hard to replace you know!
