yep working fine for me! I have no idea why we insist on jano on the left when we have MGP, jansen really is not very good going forward and back and doesn't seem to be able to cross! Agree, it doesnt make sence. Jansen was poor against Charlton. -

Why isnt MGP in the squad, and we have two strikers on the bench, stupid! Btw, Villa are the better side in the opening 15min.. -

Friedel, Neill, Amoruso, Matteo, Gray, Emerton, Ferguson, Tugay, Jansen, Dickov, Djorkaeff. Subs: Enckelman, Flitcroft, Johansson, Stead, Bothroyd. Jansen is NOT a left winger and where is MGP? Djorkaeff starting.. I do not like this! -
Judgeing from the Charlton game, Ferguson was poor but so was the majority of our team. I really hope that Hughes ain't planning on using him as a very deep midfielder who does nothing but pass the ball around to the players closest to him. IMO Ferguson has the qualities to become a very good box to box midfielder, and it's a real waste of talent to use him as a midfield ancor man who never link up in attack.
-
Thats about the only decent thing he did during 90min yesterday, and that was after about 3min. That just confirms my point, that people only tend to see the good things in Jansen's performances, which certainly ain't the case for the rest of our players. And no, I'm not upset that MGP didnt came on last night. I'm upset that Jansen got to play a full 90min, when we had someone (could have been Thompson, Reid, De Pedro) on the bench that should have gotten a chance when he played poor for most of the game.
-
IMO Jansen didnt show anything last night, and I can't believe that he was allowed to play a full 90min. I took me 15-20min into the second half before I realized that he was still on... Anyway I think Jansen is getting much easier away with a poor game like that, than the likes of Emerton, Amoruso and Neill which people hack on after every single match.

Rovers 4 Villa 0 3min: An excellent cross by Emerton, and Stead strikes it home 1-0 27min: Emerton hits a brilliant corner which Stead heads in the roof of the net 2-0 57min: Matteo sends away a lovely 70yards through ball, Stead pickes it up and combine beautifully with Dickov, and hits it hard and low 3-0 89min: Emerton hits another brilliant corner, Stead on the volley and the ball goes for the top corner, but then out of nowhere Olof Melberg is diving through the air and saves the shot with an excellent one hand save. The play goes on, but now Flitcroft find himself clear on goal but rather than striking the ball he strikes Olof's leg, and falls over.....the ref points at the penalty spot. Stead place the ball coolly in the bottom corner 4-0 -

Almost every football ground in Norway have seating and standing areas, and you are more than welcome to take the trip overseas and stand for 90min watching quality football. There is no roof above the standing areas though, so bring your umbrella, it wont insult anyone as you are the only @#/? present... -

Why???? He played last night, and was bloody awful at best against Bouremouth! He had one good game last season against Man City. Every other time he's played he's been poor. He is simply not good enough! Like i said, he hasnt been given a spell in the team. When was the last time he started and finished say 6 games in a row for the 1st team? What utter rubbish! This is a professional football club not a socialistic gathering! If you play well you play, if you play crap you dont, simple as that! Wake up and smell the coffee Hughesy! How often do you see players come out from the cold, get thrown into the team and play exceptional? Not very often! It takes a few games to fit in again So we should be playing a ###### player like Johansson for 6 full games in a row, because then he might turn into a great player? We simply cant afford that Hughesy, unless you want to get relegated. He have had alot of chances, and I'm sure he will get more as well. But sometimes we have to realize that some players just arn't good enough for the Premier League.

Yeah but look at the defenders and we all know they have talent its just that they don?t show it week in week out. Amo ? Came back in the side toward the end of last season and made a big impact. Also made a difference against pompey. The guy is huge and has a presence about him Neill ? Played very well in his 1st season n half at ewood but has dipped in confidence ever since. Gresko ? Again, when on loan and playing for a contract he was class. Now he has the contract he doesn?t seem to be putting the same effort in. Johanson ? Never been given a decent run in the side of late so you van expect mistakes. The lad should be given a chance Or you could say that they are ######, but once in a while they put on a decent performance. Players who don't perform week in week out are a liability, especially when the difference between having a decent game and a poor one is like night and day. I'm also getting sick of hearing the same old phrase "give the lad a chance" and so on, for God's sake we were up aginst Bournemouth! If you dont take that chance and go out there and prove yourself, well then I dont feel sorry for you! Slagging of players who have hardly played a couple of games for the club is one thing, but you cant go on and say "give the lad a chance" about players who have been here for years...
-
Neill - Amoruso - Johanson - Gresko Take a hard look at that back four, did we really expect them to help keeping a clean sheet? Their individual ability is nothing short of very poor, and if you add no communication and the fact we aint organized at all, no wonder we let in 3 goals..

Are you ever going to stop moaning? Souness is gone, and people are feeling positive, but you are always so negative all the bloody time, it really start to get on my nerves! Even when you try to sound positive and optimistic, you still come out like a negative buffoon in a strait jacket, surrounded by a huge pessimistic nimbus!

What a load of rubbish, and I'm not saying that just because I'm a norwegian! The guy is 22years old, he has just moved to a new country, has been away with the national team to Italy and Norway, have only had a good couple of training sessions with the team, have played 3 games -- and you are slagging him off?! What a joke! I'm not saying he will be a success here at Blackburn Rovers, but I'm surely not going to base my judgment on 3 games in the Premier League!
