  1. Out of interest, what makes you say that? By chance do you know who the last person was and he may have potentially left the club? Was the previous person genuine? Is this person?
  2. I can't in good conscience hand over any money at this point onwards. As by doing so I'm endorsing what they are doing. It tells them they can do as they please as people like me would still turn up and pay their money. Suhail believes it a minority of fans, he'll soon realise it isn't if people stop buying season tickets. I won't buy more tickets just to sing venkys out songs. That's why the remaining home games are important. We need to build momentum and harness the anger of the crowd. The poor results and performances under ismael have the ability to turbo charge fan dissent as tbh that's the only thing some pay attention to. I await the next phase. Really I believe that it should result with us trying to get the last home game of the season severely disrupted in some way.
  3. I think i would also accept this as a fall back position. Ultimately there isn't too much room for compromise here. Venkys have to go and to have no involvement in the running of the club.
  4. Took eustace about 11 games to win a game last season but most of those games were draws from memory and performances (maybe with the odd exception) weren't terrible. You could at least see some progress in terms of goals conceded anyway.
  5. Gestede says he's as much as fan of the club as us fans who are protesting/concerned. Well isn't it a relief that we have one of our own in such a senior role 😉😉😉 In all seriousness, no you aren't rudy. Trust me you have no idea how ridiculous that comment is. He thinks he can play us for fools does this guy.
  6. If we can't protest or make our feelings known now then there never will be a good time. The clubs line of getting behind the players worked last season as we were in a relegation battle. But trying to repeat that line now comes across as desperate. Playoffs have long gone and to suggest otherwise is pretty insulting imo. There's now nothing riding on these last few home games. The pressure needs to be applied and ramped up on the owners/slt
  7. 1.What's the desired end game. Venkys selling the club to new owners 2. What's the compromise position. For me I would be prepared to 're-engage' with the club and continue to support the club financially by buying season tickets in the interim if ownership publically put the club up for sale and certain conditions were met around that. 3. What's your general thoughts on our approach to date. Generally very good. Obviously there will come a time soon where we need a bit more organised direction but I'm hoping that comes after the express yourself thing vs Boro. Beyond that I'd like to see more documentation of why we are at the end of of our tether with the owners / board. Easily disseminable information that could be used to inform the outside press and convert those that are scared of change away from the venkys. 4. What's your thoughts on the Exec interviews yesterday. Lies, spin and waffle. I'm not really sure throughout all of the info relased yesterday we are much clearer because they aren't being open and what they say doesn't match their actions 5. Do you want to get more involved? Yes, not in a leadership capacity but would be able to do something else to help.
  8. Now listened to gestede on the arte labore podcast. I know he's the least important character in all this but wow are we in trouble. The guy is completely deluded. Honestly its keanesque
  9. I've listened to the club video and now the BBC lancs interview. And I'm still no closer to figuring out what is happening with venkys funding. Suhail contradicts himself constantly to the point where I believe him to be lying.
  10. I don't particularly care about the team selection here. Does anyone have any good ideas for chants aimed at suhail?
  11. Claims his grandad was the chairman in the 70s. Anyone know who that was out of interest?
  12. All the other stuff parked to one side for a minute. I think we should take a min to appreciate that rudy gestede head of whatever at a chpionship football club said this... not once but twice. Back to the other stuff, I'd get angry with what they said but they're pouring petrol on themselves at this point so found it quite enjoyable. Kudos to all those involved for strategically placing this rake in front of them! I'm looking forward to Friday night now!
  13. There isn't anything he could say that would convince me that the owners don't need to go but I am curious as to what he will say. I suspect he'll inadvertently add fuel to the fire.
  14. I mean technically VI is an aspiring league 1 manager with the way he's got us playing.
  15. That would suggest a downgrading of the academy etc too as I'm assuming we need a 21s to comply with the current academy rating we are.
  16. I would urge those with an account to argue their case in the comment sections of places where there is not a lot of support. For example the lancashire evening telegraph. Some really infuriating stuff on there.
  17. It's madness but the board have entirely created this situation: They created the conditions that led to eustace jumping ship for a team in the bottom 3. They then picked the wrong manager They then gave him a 3 and half year deal when were likely to be heading backwards(to a manager not in a position to demand such a good contract). Rendering the manager unsackable. Gestede, waggott, pasha all idiots, fools and chancers.
  18. If Wharton leaves palace for big money then it'll be another 10-15 million propping up running costs. May even mean another half a mil in transfer budget! If they decide to hold onto the players in their last year of contract based upon this, then it is conceivable we stay up next year. Which just prolongs the inevitable.
  19. Today was the day our group decided to walk away for next season. Won't spend another penny until they've gone. I sung all the anti-venky and waggott songs (bar the one about him dying). My anger and frustration has turned to apathy.
  20. What were they thinking giving him a 3 and a half year deal? It was always going to be difficult for him if he didn't hit the ground running. Now he's hit the ground face first it could get very uncomfortable for him very quickly. I'm still hoping he can turn it around somewhat because as we all know it's very frustrating in the past watching us refuse to sack a manager (Coyle, Kean the most egregious examples). Any change in shape should've happened in the summer when he had time to implement it properly. He's got to revert back to what's worked for the side this season and scrape a few wins for respectability. Because if we continue in our current form he won't be getting the benefit of the doubt. These fixtures are on paper the easiest we will have until the end of the season.
  21. Pears Brittain. Carter Hyam. Ribeiro Travis. Tronstad Dolan. Ohashi. Kargbo Gueye Subs: Toth, Sanderson, JRC, Buckley, Hedges, ACD, Cantwell, Weimann, woodrow, I think you need one of dolan or Hedges for their work-rate at least for an hour anyway. Hedges has been poor for a while but I thought did quite well off the bench on Saturday. Dolan was really poor on Saturday but I think he's been decent before that. Weimann should be coming off the bench not starting.
  22. I thought we pressed higher with a higher defensive line (that could he due to Carter returning). But i also think that they played with a higher line too which compressed the game adding to the scrappy feel as we couldn't get hold of the ball and sustain attacks. Felt we were too open early and we somewhat self corrected as the game went on. They played through our press in the first half and got into good area, and missed a couple of chances. Interestingly forshaw was pressing higher with Travis deep, which switched when tronstad came on. One of the things I knew about ismael coming into this was he was going to do a triple sub on the hour, and I think we looked better for it too. Whether that was personnel or fresh legs but we had a good period of pressure until the red card. Wasn't overly impressed with the first half or so but with Carter, tronstad, kargbo and ohashi getting mins in the tank and another week between the game, we could yet improve.
  23. The problem with the starting lineup was their was no pace and mobility in the side. Dolan as we know is deceptively slow, weimann and hedges aren't quick. Dolan often picks the wrong options as we know but Hedges and weimann create little from open play. Weimann is in because he can finish but he didn't take either of his chances today. Forshaw was fine in possesion but his mobility is poor and was of the main reasons why we dropped so deep in midfield today. So many times Gueye would get the ball back to goal and there was no option moving off him to lay it off too. When he did drop him, nobody had any pace to exploit the space in behind. We lacked energy, pace and running power. Part of that is the players dropping their levels but it's mostly not picking the right team.
  24. Why haven't we made these subs at half time i don't know
