  1. Tbf GB should probably go, if he is replaced with another DOF then fair enough. My main worry is Waggott reassuming control over football things (not that he has a good handle on the non football side of things). His handling of contracts alone is enough to disqualify him from that kind of role. The one big positive about GB is that he has communicated semi-regularly what we were trying to do. The silence this week has been deafening. Do you think waggott is going to come out and front up to any of this? Nope. And if he does he'll spin some line to try and encourage season ticket sales. In fact, on waggott, I can't stand the bloke. He tried to sell off the training ground for redevelopment and basically got away with it. I can't wait for the day he leaves this club.
  2. Christ if GB goes but Waggott survives to run the football side of the operation again...
  3. Is it a good appointment? - Not sure Is he an upgrade on JDT - not for me Is it a sensible appointment - probably yes Does it mean the project is dead - yes
  4. Feel like some have forgotten that the managers options up front for Moston this season have been Harry leonard in his first proper season Nial Ennis who even when he was fit looked really poor Telalovic who isn't anywhere near championship level as much as some would like him to be. Similar issues at right wing. For a large chunk of the season he's had only markanday, brittain or moran out of position. Full back, large chunks of the season he's had brittain, hill deputising or Pickering. Some like to moan about Pickering buts had to play him. Goalkeeper, he's had no choice but to play walhsted even when he was going through the worst run I've seen from a goalkeeper at ewood. Our January transfer window we lost hill, Wharton and Travis. Now some would argue that Travis is his fault but let's be honest it was more likely money thay forced him out. He may have given up or not adapted to the situation unfolding around him but he's been handing a big of nothing to work with.
  5. Personally I'm glad you were there. I feel very comfortable having you represent 'my views' and the view of the 'fans'
  6. Was my initial reaction with someone else brought in to help the coaching side of things. My guess would be david Dunn.
  7. I think he's said a lot by not saying a lot there hasn't he.
  8. Funny thing is at the start of December with us 7th in the league with this small injury hit squad lacking in quality he was basically working a miracle. Now the wheels have come off and I feel like he has given up to an extent and is probably exacerbating the situation.
  9. Pears O'ridordan. Fadz. Wharton JRC. Tronstad. Fleck. Chrisene Dolan. Szmodics Gally
  10. A lot of the players of that era left under an NDA. That might be dissuade a few.
  11. I don't care. As the above poster says its same shit different day. Get rid of the owners. Nothing else matters now
  12. Bad news is we lost and are in a relegation battle. Good news is the blackburn end turned on waggott and the venkys. There's anger here and we need to use it to get rid of them once and for good.
  13. Agreed. Jackson didn't have the inside scoop on anything in the last couple of days. He's pretty poor I'd say. Makes Sharpe look a lot better by comparison.
  14. Aren't a lot of the pre match press stuff usually done on the Thursday? Might explain it.
  15. Centre mid options: Tronstad - very good imo JRC -needed elsewhere on the park / gets injured Garrett - not had a run of games playing deeper. He's got something but I'm not convinced. Would be a massive step down in quality from Wharton. Ayari. - little experience /not our player Buckley - currently injured and hasn't played much all season. Will take a while to get back up to speed. The lack of cover from tronstad is alarming.
  16. It'll be the promise that next window is the one where they'll get the money. Then that'll fall through for whatever reason. A never ending cycle.
  17. We desperately need cover for tronstad. Another cm is a must now.
  18. Is it 5 loan players in the match day squad isn't it? Someone at rovers needs to be keeping track of this because someone is missing out at this rate.
  19. I feel very angry and frustrated. Its nice that this website exists, where people who feel the same can console each other. Thanks to the guys who run it, you do a great job. So that's my tiny silver lining. I love this club, I hate what this club has become and I weep for the future of the club. Strangley the McGuire fiasco has upset more than any loss in our current poor league form. Logically I know I should give up on the club but in my heart I know I never will, I must have some self destructive tendencies or maybe I'm just an addict. Pasha out, waggott out and most Importantly Venkys out.
  20. Can anyone expand on the claims that Adam has been 'pushed out the door'?
  21. Nah nobody will notice. They never do. Most people don't even know venkys still own us. This won't register on their radar.
  22. This. Suhail is the one, venkys wouldn't notice. He wants to work in the shadows. We shouldn't let him.
  23. Ackermann would be interesting, former fm wonderkid https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2023/oct/09/saka-ackermann-what-happened-to-next-generation-2018
  24. Playing with 10 men? It's a bold strategy cotton let's see if it pays off!
  25. I don't love it or hate it. It's cover till the end of the season. To me it indicates we will continue with a back 3/back 5. Makes sense not to panic buy now and make 4 or 5 quality signings in the summer. Assuming the AW money doesn't go into a big black hole (most likely scenario).
