  1. Best of luck to Matt, I wish him well wherever he goes (if he does go) and I will never forget the promotion season, and the season after in which he was robbed of an England place! I Hope he stays, because I do think he will get a chance once we reach the 35 point barrier, and effectively safe, please Matty see out this season and re-assess in the summer!
  2. I was looking to get a name and number on the back of my shirt! The prices are ridiculous! Letters= £1 each Numbers = £5 each Therefore 1. Friedel = £12 2. Neill = £10 3. 4. Agreed, Tottenham matched Rovers but never looked threatening, Mark King had a good game at left back, and Jamie Clarke took his goal well but my man of the match would have to be right winger Alan Judge. Roll on Round 4, hopefully against the Dingles who beat Hull 2-3. One of the favourites, Arsenal, knocked out on penalties. Man Utd, Man City, Newcastle, Bolton, Liverpool all through. West Ham who beat Rovers last year = through The big club = out 3rd Round Results STOP PRESS. Rovers drawn at home to Derby Co. Dingles home to Fulham. 4th Round Draw
  5. Is the game available anywhere online? Radio lancs? Radio Kent?
  6. Everton (h) West Ham (h) Fulham (a) Middlesboro (a) Sunderland (h) Pompey (h) Vital games, will decide on: a ) Europe - Best Case b ) Mid Table - Average Case c ) Relegation Dog fight - Worst Case scenario
  7. The sad thing is that his 86 year old father is still alive and well. Best threw away every young man's dream. Still a lost life is a lost life and I hope that George can find peace and comfort
  8. Loan Players tonight: McEveley- full 90 in Ipswich's 3-0 defeat at home to Reading Johnson- Unused not even on subs bench Derbyshire- Unused sub Gallagher- started but subbed after 76 mins in Stoke's 2-1 defeat vs. Derby Douglas- Time wasting substitute as Leeds beat Dingles 2-0
  9. I cant score from free kicks on ps2 any tips? my shots always go on target and are curled of course but the keeper always saves them! HELP!!!
  10. I went to Highbury last year, an awful stadium but a lot of character which I suppose made it enjoyable. Interesting that in the last 14 months or so since we played Arsenal have gone from being the "Invincibles" and were now a team who could possibly pick up a result. I for one will be happy with a point. Who knows possibly Jingle Bells will be sung at the end of the match!
  11. Saw Striker for the SNES in Gamestation today for 99p! AWESOME
  12. Why don't the FA turn around to the players and say "All have a week off"
  13. Good performance from the boys, the thing is that I still don't think that we've seen a "polished" performance from the boys yet, someone is going to be on the end of a thumping soon, if we can keep up the standards at present. Still take nothing away from the team, would have liked to have seen less of Brad though! Friedel- 8 (Hreidarsson and Bothroyd denied by fine stops) Neill- 9 (Keeps getting better and better, played right, left and centre back!) Khizanishvilli- 8 (Classy. Classy defender, plays better with Nelsen though) Todd- 7 (Quietly effective, Hopefully Nelsen is back soon to take his place, if injured) Gray- 6 (Injury curtailed afternoon) Emerton- 8 (Fantastic goal, confident throughout) Tugay- 9 (Only remember one bad pass all day, pure class) Reid- 7 (Struggled first half, good second, good cross for Pedersen's goal) Pedersen- 7 (Quiet, but scored a good goal) Dickov- 7 (Worked hard, took goal well) Bellamy- 8 (Worked even harder, deserved goal) SUBS Mokoena- 6 (Could have been braver for Charlton goal, steady) Bentley- 6 (Quiet, kept possesion) Kuqi- 7 (Great header to setup 4th)
  14. Matt will get his chance, Its better for Hughesy to see him day in day out than Matty to go out on loan, Its a long season, Matty will get his chance. Interestingly when Matt went out on loan to Coventry his record was: Games 8 (2) Goals 2
  15. Kuqi and Bellamy upfront. Todd in defence Otherwise unchanged from Leeds
  16. What colour kits will they be wearing tommorrow? Obviously Rovers will be in the traditional blue and white. Birmingham however have a blue home shirt and a white away shirt, obviously both these colours clash. May we see the black away kit tommorrow? Someone must be able to shed light on the matter
  17. I hope Norway qualify otherwise we will have no Rovers players there!
  18. I played football with him for my church team. I used to see him at church and still see his mother and father who are extremely nice people. Hes from the Lammack area of Blackburn. I'm pretty sure he was a Rovers fan too.
