  1. Might just be me, thought it was telling that Suhail and Waggot were sat together, but not next to Broughton
  2. Absolute soft touch this side.
  3. I wonder if we're yet to decide whether it falls into the football operations or commercial side of the club. So no-one has bothered to ask and it's a shit state as a result. Or Venky's are penny pinching....more likely that
  4. Then I don't understand how you can complete the registration if there are mandatory fields not filled in.
  5. This in no way absolves anyone at Ewood of blame. But you have to wonder why there isn't a web portal for player transfers these days. Half of the issues around missing info and 'did it come in on time?' would be stopped quite easily.
  6. Entirely what I was thinking when I saw JoeH's post around it not being unusual for Waggot to be at Birmingham. He may well attend games regularly, but there was zero common sense approach on Wednesday. What would have a bigger impact on our season as a whole? Him watching us make it through to the 5th round of the FA Cup, or ensuring a smooth ending to the transfer window with a potential game changing player walking through the door?
  7. To be fair, I'd want to keep JDT and GB around, but sack off the rest. At least the pair of them come across as hungry individuals who want to progress their respective careers. Maybe they'd have more success with similar people in the commercial and administrative roles.
  8. Just returned after a day of work and fucking hell I wish I was still at the office. So that's now management incompetence added to, not opening on a Sunday and a broken fax machine, as reasons for not signing players. The person's responsible should be 'thanked' for their services and walked out the door. I'll do whatever job Silvester does should do for half his pay.
  9. I don't think the EFL have much to worry about regarding us going up. Have they not seen our frontline?
  10. The only hope I'm clinging to is that we aren't alone in this backlog seemingly, which points to a possible problem at the EFL side which they're trying to rectify. Again I would've hoped the club could communicate this, unless of course they aren't allowed to.
  11. Someone mentioned Dyzuba, I'd take him all day long until the end of the season. However I can't see us parting with 10k a week for a 35 year old.
  12. From a Dale supporting friend: He is a very good player, best of the ones we have had through our academy over the last few years. but and it is a big but, he has been bullied in League 2 so hasn't really been catching the eye. Hope it goes through as it would be a good move for him.
  13. If that's true, the window is nothing but an abject failure.
  14. And although he was shit, Hirst too. But I'd rather give Leonard a chance over him.
  15. No striker makes it a failure.
  16. Again, there'll be deals being finalised throughout the night everywhere. As long as the paperwork to say we're working on a deal is in by 11, then we're ok.
  17. Wouldn't we just have to get the paperwork in by 11pm to say we're working on a deal? Ala Zurab.
  18. That was what I was going to post originally. But considering our history with how we do loan deals, I suspect we aren't able to without being financially penalised.
  19. Sky won't have the foggiest what the latest is with Rovers.
  20. Midfielder then striker in that order for me. So I'm glad to see this O'Brien move might happen. I'd be hopeful we send one of ours out on loan though to get some experience.
  21. Ironically, the profile has said we're after George Francombe from Crawley, who has one League 2 start this season. Probably more in the wheelhouse of where we're looking at this hour.
  22. follows 6 people, has an embedded link that goes to some crypto page and the profiles first post was 1 hour ago. I put it in the file marked bollocks. Probably some kid using ChatGPT or something.
  23. At 22, he had 17 in 34 for Cercle Brugge. For comparison, At 25, Undav had 25 in 33.
  24. To be fair, Ugbo has 1 in 16 from his loan at Barnsley (aged 19).
  25. I'm pretty sure at the first 3 clubs. He was 19,18 and 17 respectively.
