  1. I'm sure someone on here and on this thread 2 or so months ago mentioned Drommel. It was such a left field call that people were mixing them up with 'Drameh' from Hull. Fair play to whoever called that.
  2. Mcloughlin I think. Haven't seen him move anywhere else. Don't think having both Batth and Fadz is wise. I think Wharton might be able to turn quicker than either with only one leg.
  3. Looks like he knows where the back of the net is.
  4. Bang on, let's not pretend this Mafoumbi is for the first team. This board was almost unanimous in that opinion when his name (and age) came up, so no re-writing history. Its 2 in for the 2 leaving.
  5. If Gally and Szmodics both go. We'd need 9 minimum.
  6. Bloxham has been a bit lively, he's at least tried to be positive going forward.
  7. So you're not able to link the first part of my post with the second? Considering you've named 2 players aged 21 and a 19 year old.....
  8. Because Armstrong was much younger than Szmodics. All Clubs are now being extremely careful where their money goes and very few in the Ipswich mould are going to spend around £12m on an unproven 28 year old.
  9. Would he be the first Japanese player to play for us?
  10. Looks like he can play on the left, right and in the hole. Probably more in the hole than anywhere.
  11. Are you comfortable with that considering last season's showing?
  12. Won't begrudge you that pleasure. Although i'll be reserving my celebrations for Venkys departure.
  13. In some way, I'm hoping that when we do sell Szmodics or anyone else, they go for a real derisory fee. Any decent amount will be swallowed up by the owners and keep the circus going for longer. If they've nothing to sell and no way to pay for things, you'd hope they'll have no choice but to piss off.
  14. 24 days before the season starts and we are (technically) weaker than when we played Leicester last season. Genuine question, for away games, do Venkys get any of the revenue whatsoever?
  15. Besides the academy and the supporters. What else about 'our club' is positive?
  16. I had a feeling our striker search might not be what we were hoping once the Tyjon news started coming to the fore a week or so ago. Since then, Rovers' Instagram has had multiple pictures, interviews and has even posted a video following just Igor during a training session, the day after he signed his contract. I know social media really jazzes up signings these days, but I found it odd that a 16 year old was getting similar exposure a proper first team signing would get. They are already gearing us up for what we can expect this coming season.
  17. I've seen a couple of those mobile electronic billboard vans driving round the Blackburn area recently. What about getting one to slowly drive around Ewood with an advert on it during gameday. Might even get some traction on Sky if its done during a televised game.
  18. The biggest reason we lose £15m a season is due to the league we're in, something which Venkys oversaw. It's almost as if there's some memory loss from some about that.
  19. Yeah...and they should stick to pissing in a portakabin too and the coffee machine?! Forget it. I get your premis, but some of the follow-up comments away from the payment fiasco are what really shows the rotten underbelly of BRFC.
  20. Sharpe's personal substack stories on the club have been good. That alone shows you're likely hamstrung by what you can and can't say when working for the LT. Trying to hold people and companies to account gets you punished these days.
  21. I saw a twitter post by a Danish journalist who stated that "a deal had been in place for a long time" re: Wahlstedt We do seem to have little issues in organising outgoings and even keeping to our word by agreeing a deal for a later date and sticking to it.
  22. Sick of Bellingham trying to gee up the crowd. We've been collectively dogshit for 3 and a half games, give us something to cheer about first.
