You'd be best off saying "I wanted 3 in by now and I'm disappointed that the club haven't done that" - 3 is what you wanted and you haven't got it. So you can therefore be critical of the club if you think that's what we needed and it hasn't happened.

So an absolute novice with zero experience as a 'Head Of' in any capacity, is in charge of the footballing operations at a Championship club. Watched the interview, lad comes across well.
