I hope he is getting sacked but it would make absolutely no sense to sack him 6 games in after giving him the summer window and preseason.
Also, what if he won all 6?
When Senior get the ok to sack Coyle - just after the transfer window closed wasn't it?
Think it is bollxx but Venkys and Logic are mutually exclusive

I agree that you need 2 formations to try( also known as plan B ). In most successful cases, Plans A+B keeps the defence the same, but changes how the ball gets delivered into the box. Plan A, 4-3-3, The ball is delivered in to the box down channels through midfield to forwards. Plan B, 4-4-2, the ball is delivered into the box by wide men crossing early to target forwards.
Plus plan C for last 20 when we are losing a.la Samba as CF 😉😀

Barnsley have signed a young striker from France, hardly set the world on fire on his travels but it shows a level of imagination that we are lacking
I dunno - that Chilean lad is looking promising after acclimatizing to Blackburn ... 😜

If anyone ever talks to me about Mowbray being humble, honest, man of integrity etc then I will metaphorically smash them in the face.
It gives me no pleasure in being proven right about Waggott and Mowbray almost from the day they first set foot in Ewood. If you've 'been around the block a few times' in life then you can smell 'em and I've always thought Waggott and Mowbray stink.
I was wrong and would let you have a free shot 🙈

I'm clinging to the faint hope this is what might be driving it but to be honest it's probably more of a convenient excuse to slash and burn.
They've thrown money away again over the last FFP cycle backing Mowbrays muddled attempts at getting up the league. They don't appear to want to bring in fresh management and directors so they are going along with this lot again. Just now asking them to work at a level they are more capable of. It will lead to relegation but they are still stupid enough to think we'll have another repeat of last time.
Personally i think the trio are behind this as much as the owners and it will lead to them getting contract extensions whilst they oversee the changes. It is downright depressing for all but the most deluded of Mowbray/Venky fanboys.
The main issue is the continuing rumours around the training ground. If those are true there is a desperate need for quick money from somewhere. Or, again it's being driven from inside the club to fit their new low cost, easy to manage model they are pitching.
I can Imagine that the "coventrio" (for want of a better name) and whoever it is that actually deals directly with V's have quite simply been told to cut operating costs by X amount or and reduce staffing by X percent
That would be pretty standard in an organisation where the owners don't know much and the decision made in about 20 minutes as the V's went through their portfolio.
Been in a similar situation where big, pointless expenses were approved only to asked to remove 40 % of the "essential staff" a few weeks later...
Needless to say i chose to break my contract and leave.

Credit: half-time team talk did wake us up even though we still look shaky midfield and defensively.
Brereton looks reborn and Rothwell and Buckley could be match winners. Pickering definitely an upgrade too.

be ironic if brereton got sold and armstrong ended up staying!!!!!
Just added another zero to his value - now up to 700 000 😉

Every credit to Mowbray. I didn't think it was possible to come up with a more defensive, ineffective attacking system than last year. Hats off though, he's done it.
Whilst still being weak defensively...
He is a genius

On the club website, updates & commentary are never provided. Anybody know why?
surely, one doesn’t have to pay, simply to get updates & comments during the game?
It wouldn't surprise me if we started charging for oxygen at home games...

It’s looking ominous.
The fact when it was brought up in the Fans Forum, the response was just ‘no update’. No commitment to the site as it stands or a mea culpa of any sort.
Billy Barr saying "I'm outta here" is a pretty strong indication for me

1. Yes (2026)
2. Yes (2026)
3. Kaminsky on merit. Brereton on votes IF he is anything other than utterly useless.
4. 22nd
5. Fulham

Tell me about it. The communication from the club is at an all time low and it's not just in relation to streaming. I don't know what the heck is going on down there, but they are acting like a tinpot outfit.
I'm looking forward to watching the game tomorrow but have no idea if Rovers TV are even streaming it. Having to visit the opposition's website just to find out if I can watch it is ridiculous.
Expected a headline about "u23 Win Cup" but nope - just "report Rovers u23 vs Wigan u23".
Ok fine - Lancashire cup isn't the biggest event but ffs it is still a Title that should be mentioned as most would skim past it thinking it was a pre-season u23 training exercise...
Absolute shit show of an organisation where the first team manager denigrates the "kids" in the local propaganda rag on the same day as they win a Cup!🤬

Replacement? Yes, a row of houses is being lined up right now...
Very much this. Think Mr Barr has done a great job and saw a future where he would be sidelined/hindered/unwanted

It could if TM and Waggot decided it should. Just add something vague to the jobtitle/brief so that it doesn't look too obvious...
Think Arbitro is spot on.
