Pah!!!... we can't even top possession stats and lose 0-1 anymore now.
Dire stuff, when's Tony back ?
No worries - results don't matter in pre-season. We'll be fine once we have our first choice back four playing - oh 🤣

whats up with gallagher,he`s not featured at all yet??
Was told (on here) that he "had a knock" when i asked around the Fylde game. Starting to wonder if it is actually financial...

Where is Gallagher??

From the Lancs Live article linked by OP (emphasis/bold added by me):
Speaking of his time at Celtic, one of his former scouts Peter Houston told the Record: "John brought in a lot of money to Celtic when he was head of the operation. I don’t think anybody could argue he did his job properly. But when a new manager comes in he obviously wants his own people there beside him.

I wonder what "operational and internal issues" we have that prevent us sending a team of kids up to Gateshead?
Not enough players?
Not enough kit?
Can't afford the coach fare?
No money to put in meter so kit can't be washed until next week when Waggots missus is back from visiting relatives 👍

Amazing how Mowbray always palms these things off onto the senior players. The bloke takes absolutely no responsibility for anything, ever, so you have to question what the point of him being here actually is. The senior players look after their own fitness, apparently, and he's also said he lets the players control the dressing room. He doesn't believe in formations either. So, what exactly is he bringing to the table?
It struck me that this could be considered a modern management style and can be quite effective IF said manager's strength is being inspirational and motivational...

Are you ready for: "well many came back late to pre-season and unfit" when the injuries pile up again...

competition launched for the best tony excuse for not signing anyone in the coming weeks🙂
1st prize is a leftover pie from 2019,not that it would taste anyworse now than it did when it was fresh
Not having a kit available meant we couldn't sign anyone as the photos wouldn't look right...

So CAN we sign anyone yet?

It’s weird I went to the ewood concourse sale a couple of weeks back and when I was paying heard a chap (who I believe to be Warren Lucy going off his voice) talking to the retail manager saying he’d seen something in the flesh and it was majestic.
I assumed he was referring to the kit and a teaser or reveal was imminent but nothing since
Talking about Madam D's arse perhaps??

I can see it now. End of the season, relegation, Mowbray's excuses about late recruitment, relying too heavily on loans, too many kids, transfer embargo.
Of course all without any admission that responsibility for all the above lies either in India or the corridors of Ewood/Brockhall.
I've no doubts they will try and sweeten the Armstrong deal by begging for a kid on loan in return. Saves them the hassle of finding someone else or spending any of the money.
A bit like selling your multi million mansion at a knock down price but getting discounted rent on an apartment for 12 months in return.
At least you've somewhere to live but you'll be in a mess when that arrangement comes to an end.
Uncertainty about Co-vid will be amongst the excuses (because it only affects Rovers you know 🤔😉)

The kit issue is purely down to Macron. Sheff Weds also have a “pre-season kit” from Macron.
I think the anger is compounded by the fact that Sheff Weds temporary shirt resembled a football shirt. Ours looked like something homemade on a cheap "fruit of the loom" knockoff...

Isn't that just a "reserve" freindly similar to the one we played at Darwen yesterday?
Can't imagine Kaminski, Armstrong, etc lining up in that one.
Yes (was probably already scheduled but nobody was interested until the ridiculous planning was mentioned on here 🤔😂)

Terrible looking shirt, even if it is just the training top or whatever.
What do you expect for 1.99 from Aldi with logos printed on Tony's inkjet last night...

Could this also mean a wage rise for BB and an additional sum to Forest?

Or whoever did the deal at Rovers was laughing their tits off "as if anyone will pay more than 7m for him! Sure, fill ya boots"
Do Forest give us money back if we sell at a loss 🤔😈😜

What we need is some footage of him kissing someone at Brockhall.
I'm starting to think he could take a dump in the centre circle at half time while blowing Waggot and still not get fired 😲

If history is anything to go by we will keep Armstrong and flog Lenihan during the last week of the window. Armstrong will eventually leave on a free or low fee when he "refuses to sign a new deal"...

Nice kit - shame about everything else...
Eerily reminiscent of 16/17 session 🤬
