Tbf he's been put on their strongest header of the ball. Why not Ayala??
But hanging on here desperat for half-time

Freekick for Millwall - dangerous.
Edit: straight at wall

Good on TM tbh 😀

I'm in France for holidays and thought I would be able to watch the game on a over sees match ticket.
Cant see that option though, only get the audio options listed.
Any overseas rovers had any luck?
Using local internet or roaming? (Have had that issue with other services when in other countries but using my phone's data connection)
Edit: clear any cache as well

Just bought the season pass but matchpass was available

I expect:
Kaminski
Magloire Lenihan Ayala
Nyambe Pickering
Travis Davenport
Gallagher. Brereton
Dolan
Personally would keep last weekend's starting 11...

I mean clearly at this point Mowbray is just going to swamp the team with 5 PL youngsters once they sort out their squads and work out who is left over.
So just a couple more weeks of no signings, then 5 inexperienced (if talented) ones all at once - in positions that we probably won't need.
There is one tiny upside to this - their parent clubs will probably stipulate that a defender plays in defence, a midfielder in midfield and so on...
Not usually required for most clubs but i can imagine it being pretty prominent in any deals with Rovers 🤡

From website:
"The kits will be available to purchase from the Roverstore next month in a limited edition presentation box."
So expect a price tag around 65 quid then including said box.
Also got the impression that ALL of our kits this season are "limited editions" 🤔😜🤣

Move on to one of the others from the list.
The likelihood of playing the next 4 games with the current threadbare squad is a huge concern.
Everybody is a star or hero these days - how about a bit of honesty for once: "Bournemouth set sights on Southampton u-23/bit-part/reserve player..."
Yes I'm old and a miserable git but it does my head in 🤬

I think it's safe to assume if we sign 5 or 6 at least one will come from Boro.
You missed the words "rejects or reserves"

Head of recruitment and assistant watching local games isn’t exactly what I’d call unusual in football!
The caveat “guests of boro” simply explains where the tickets came from (as stated were playing them soon) however make of it what you will!
Agree on the first bit - it is that little caveat that strikes me as odd.
Guests of Blackpool would have made more sense to me (but i don't work in football so that is why i wonder)

Venus and Park were at Blackpool on Tuesday as guests of Middlesbrough although I suspect it was more to do with the fact we play Middlesbrough soon rather than actually scouting players.
Is that normal?? Sounds bizarre to me

The whole thing seems bizzarre now. According to all reports a fee for Obafemi has been agreed for a while. That means we have permission to talk to the player. TM said yesterday he hadn't spoken to the lad. Why not? Obafemi clearly isn't interested in coming this way or the deal would have been done days ago
Does TM do transfers? Doesn't do tactics, training, league table etc etc 🤔😉

So....far as I can tell there's only 2 teams in whole of Championship that haven't signed a single player, us and Reading.
And Balaji's telling me the "future looks bright"!!
Any chance he can point out where. I'm not seeing much light amongst the gloom. Feels more like a total eclipse tbh.
A nuclear blast is bright in the beginning...

Arma gone, reported on Instagram from Rovers.
Also on website.
"Significant undisclosed fee" 🤔😬🤣

Option 5 - give Newcastle 1.2m, don't sign anyone and do naff all about the ground or academy. Give TM and crew new contracts as thanks for AA deal.
Possibly entice Downing out of retirement in oktober and then not play him...

Yes, essentially. They value Obafemi at 6 million so if what Nixon says is true (haha), we're essentially getting him for nothing which brings the overall deal for AA to 21 million.
Expect a similar sell-on clause in that case. Free transfer but a percentage of any future fee

I’d rather us spend that 6 million on a centre half for when Ayala is inevitably crocked again. Give Diaz and Gally the chance to prove there worth this season and shore up the backline.
Tbh i don't think either of them can play the pressing game as well as AA - which means Dolan will be put there.
Obefami sounds perfect "as a player" and IF he wants to get a good move in 2 years time then we are a good bet for him to show what he can do.
Also suspect BB will move abroad in january for naff all.

Rothwell and Nyambe next out the door - contracts on table but unsigned. Then next season - those with a squishy stomach shouldn't be looking at who we're probably gonna lose.
If true that our owners vetoed a 2m deal with Sheff Utd for Rothwell then he'll be here until he leaves on a free next summer
-
Good luck to him - been a good pro for us and done the hard work to get the chance. Think the "non-contact" route the game is taking will suit him but will probably have to bulk up a bit as well (easier to do with a premier league physio setup).

Even better that Millwall got a freekick when their GK clashed with his own defender 🤣
