Look at some of the signings they made last season, on loan and permanent. That was a top six squad if I’ve ever seen one. Had some real talent there, they only missed out by 3 points or something though so it does seem harsh! But the way they are spending money there, they will appoint someone decent and recruit well. Wont be a surprise to see them challenging at the top end of the league next season.

Alex Scott was performing at a slightly higher level than Wharton and went for 25 million I think it was, I don’t believe 15 for Wharton is massively unreasonable, particularly as that 15 isn’t going to increase much anytime soon playing in a team that can’t win a game. Leo is certainly not the finished article yet, he’s an infant in terms of the age of a goalkeeper but it’s still concerning the way he seemingly flaps at everything. What I will say is in Raya’s early days he was a bit of a flapper as well, but he matured and developed at Brentford and is now number one at Arsenal. I’m not saying Leo will have the same career path but it’s still very early days for the lad and hopefully with every game he plays the better he gets.

Opposite to a couple on here I thought that Tronstad had a great game today, always popped up in the right place defensively to get a foot in and distribute the ball on, he’s obviously got a specific role in the team and I thought he did it perfectly today 🤷‍♂️

We should have been out of sight after 20 minutes, this team is literally a proper experienced centre forward away from finishing in the top six in my view with the amount of chances we create, we just need someone who can stick the ball in the net. Gally has proven he’s not that man, Telalovic is a complete unknown, Leonard is still learning on the job and isn’t going to get you 15 goals or more and Ennis is currently crocked. Roll on the January window 😂

Not sure I can see Telalovic playing from the start so soon, regardless of Gally being injured. Think Leonard will start tomorrow. JRC and Brittain BOTH need to start also. I really do hope Ennis gets himself fit soon because when he has been on the pitch he’s looked good. Gally will be off next summer, the most baffling footballer I’ve ever known, the guy is big, fast and has shown he can strike a ball well at times but still, he just doesn’t score enough and is injured far to much. He’s 100% going to go back down south next May.
