Could this be the death spiral to end all death spirals, and with it, Mowbray's time at Rovers? -

Don't read the LT today, it's ruined my Sunday. Imagine being able to ruin a Sunday in lockdown, this is the level Mowbray has sunk to. -

It's got me absolutely fucking fuming. The guy has the temerity to act like a spoilt brat in the media and moan about being fucking cold - how about having to suffer the last decade of utter shite, Tony? How about people with genuine financial or health problems, that used to count Rovers as something to enjoy and look forward to and help forget about all the other shit in their lives that now have to put up with your gross incompetence as a manager whilst you still earn £100k's per year? And you moan about being cold. You're an absolute clown in my book, I've seen through your attempt at management for some time and I now want you gone from my club. -

Fuck me Tony doesn't half talk some utter nonsense. Bielsa is 100 x the manager/performance based coach that he'll ever be -

I'm not so sure, I genuinely think we're very close to a point where he will be called out on his "journey" nonsense. Reducing our injury list removes his final excuse, and whilst he may get the summer (after we finish slightly higher than last year) I reckon he'll be all out of excuses around 10-15 games into next season. Sadly, that may be too late for any new manager to turn things around and get promotion that season, especially if we finally have to sell some of our assets. Which is why it's such a crying shame that Venkys don't pay more attention as with the right appointment now we could absolutely be back in the Prem next year. -

They haven't canned him because he dances to their tune. Any manager that has done that previously gets a longer run at it than one who doesn't, and a lot longer than they deserve for their performances. It's almost as if they forget about us for most of the year, apart from when a bit of money is required to be pumped in, then when we do flash into their minds it'll be a "Blackburn what? Oh yeah, that expensive outpost with the simple old bloke in charge, we like him" type scenario. I do believe there will come a tipping point relatively soon though, because as much as they may like Mowbray the £200m (and growing) hole will require focus, and the "how do we start to reduce that gap" answer isn't in the Championship, where we will flounder forever more under Mowbray. -

Your second line here spells out how I'm approaching Rovers now to keep myself sane. I'm viewing it a bit like Covid in a "things won't always be like this" type of way. Absolutely not trying to compare the horrendous disease to Mowbray's spell at Rovers, or in any way trying to belittle the disaster it has been for the entire world, but I'm so over Mowbray and his bang average management that I'm just going to remember it won't always be like this.
