  1. Couldn't agree more, I hate them and what they've done. I do however cling to the hope that football runs in cycles and that one day we'll get back to where we belong.
  2. Can't argue with that. Whoever their manager is (I care so little I can't even be arsed to Google it) he's clearly getting the most out of a very average squad. Imagine what he could do with our lot...
  3. Are you genuinely bothered by this? We're about the worst we've been in my 36 years, they're the best, and they've still achieved absolutely shit all.
  4. Preston have achieved nothing since I've been alive.
  5. Had we forgotten or has the Mowbray-Venkys axis finally driven the will to give a single fuck out of us?
  6. He's got to go. I no longer buy into this 'better the devil you know' argument. Yes the real problem is with our shitty owners but sometimes in life you have to take a risk and treading water is no longer acceptable. He did well to stabilise us after the Coyle debacle but given how much £££ we are losing month by month we have to make a run for the play-offs and he's clearly not capable of doing that given the way he has spent money when he has been given it, the refusal to strengthen the defence, the constant playing people out of position and most importantly the fact we are ALWAYS F*CKING 14th IN THE LEAGUE.
  7. Correct. Strange one as Huddersfield have got a few good results recently and appear to be ramping up under their new manager whilst we tread water with the good human. I've no qualms betting against Rovers so will be sticking a few quid on it.
  8. Rover 10/11, Huddersfield 16/5, draw 5/2. Bookies rarely get things wrong but I I think they may have this time.
  9. Tony's been to India to tell the clowns how well everything is going despite there being zero progress since he arrived at the club what feels like 14 years ago. He claims we'd be in the play offs if we'd beaten Charlton and Luton, but he doesn't like talking about 'ifs' and 'buts'; despite doing exactly that. He's also taken a huge advantage of noting that the clowns don't give a flying f8ck about Rovers or have zero knowledge of football by conveniently ignoring we'd need a 9 goal swing in those two fixtures to be in that final play off spot, this despite not beating any team by more than 2 goals in the 14 years he's been here, including the season in League One. I look forward to more window dressing from the good human after the Huddersfield debacle.
  10. He's not gone has he?? This should absolutely be counted a wind up if not.
  11. What's the point? Finally reached the end of my tether with Tony. It's the hope that's killed it for me.
  12. No progress in 3 years. Time to go Mowbray, you're simply not good enough.
  13. You're the people I'll be talking about later... "I just feel for those poor fuckers that spent 8 hours on a train and £200+ to watch that shit"
  14. Ah the classic "yeah but who else is there" response. At what point does this become unacceptable? The squad we have at the minute haven't been in the play off places this season and have lost at home to Charlton and Luton.
  15. You're basing this on your opinion? OK I'll rephrase, what are you basing your opinion on? The fact that "anyone can beat anyone" doesn't really cut it when we haven't been in the play offs once since Mowbray took over. So anyone can beat anyone but we can't beat anyone enough to get top 6? Blind loyalty to the man because he's the best we've had since Venkys took over or because he's "a nice guy" is a bit pathetic, frankly. We desperately need to get into the Premiership to survive as a club, because Venkys won't keep ploughing in money forever, and so whilst I would thank Tony for stabilising us during a very dark period for our club I would get rid for a young, hungry manager who would get the most out of this squad and get us into the top 6.
  16. What are you basing this on? We haven't been in the play offs since Mowbray took charge.
  17. Not on your own there. I'm already fed up of watching us dodge and weave our way into mid table mediocrity. It's all we'll ever achieve under Mowbray but sadly he is the best we can now hope for given our owners and how much it'll cost someone else to buy the club with our levels of debt. So how could you get excited about Rovers? 1-1, give a f8ck scoring our equaliser in the last minute.
  18. Utterly unacceptable, best have f8cking big response on Tuesday
  19. Big T is aiming for 8th place apparently in his interview in this mornings LT; 70 points, that's going off last year's table at least.
  20. Bookies have them as slight favourites, i'm going for a Holtby inspired 1-3. That's if it counts as 'Holtby inspired' despite him not being in the match day squad
  21. Welcome Lewis. Haven't seen this much excitement for a signing in some time, could he take us on to that next level? I do hope so. I'd be a bit happier if he was a striker but it would be remiss of me to complain given the amount of these types of signings during Venkys tenure.
  22. Hang on.. Are you saying Mowbray has a plan? We've only used Buckley once haven't we? And you're suggesting 5-3-2?
  23. Got a bad feeling about this one; utterly appalling to watch, Millwall to snatch it in the 89th minute with their first shot on target, 0-1. Mowbray running out of excuses if this does happen.
