For my own sanity I've accepted we won't be going up this year. I knew TM wasn't the man to take us up before the transfer window but hoped he may pull it out of the bag with a couple of defensive signings ready to slot into the team. Can you clarify exactly what Venkys have said to TM about Brereton? These clowns have no idea about what a good footballer looks like, so I find it a bit of stretch that they've given TM "flak" for a young lad that's not been given much a chance to shine as yet.

Agreed, lot's of ifs and buts from both of us. Perhaps it's worth seeing how he gets on first before making a judgement. If we're six games in and he's clearly no upgrade on Raya then TM has a lot to answer for.
