In the context of owners that appointed Coyle instead of Warnock, yes I would. In general, no, I'd prefer Hughes or Ainsworth (as stated), but there are worse appointments we could make.

What a weird comment to make. I just named 3 of the more successful former Rovers that are managers in England, and (as you say) reckon they're realistic. I'd take any of them, but in the order named.

Allow me to pull some names out my arse: Max Allegri? Ralf Rangnick? Marcelino? Luciano Spalletti? Enrique Setién? All superb, superstar managers currently out of work. Is there a CHANCE we could push the boat out? Now for some left-field names a bit more considered. I've tried to focus on managers who've recently improved their teams, but might fancy a jump (or return) to England. David Wagner - vastly improved Schalke in his time there, particularly their defence, albeit with a fair wallet to spend. Christian Gourcuff - as above at Nantes, with an eye for improving youngsters. Julian Stephan - pulling up trees at Rennes last year. Christian Streich - Freiburg. Imanol Alguacil - Real Sociedad (albeit he's only ever managed Sociedad). Marco Rose - At Monchengladbach, has improved each of the 3 teams he's managed so far. Julian Nagelsmann - RB Leipzeig. Don't worry, the drugs are wearing off. Now for former Rovers: Hughes, Ainsworth, Hill. I'd take any if I'm honest.

Conversely, we appointed Hughes on the basis of minimal experience too. Actually, that's triggered a thought. Any interesting international managers to be approached?

The Terry suggestion is interesting, but is potentially an Ince. Personally reckon (of the older guard), Hughes might be the best option. Works well on modest budgets, and has a record of at least initially shoring up defences. Admittedly his time here colours my lenses a touch, but it's a relatively sensible suggestion objectively. If we were going down the untested route, I'd rather see someone like the Cowley brothers, who've at least tasted success lower down.

That got me a bit, when they suddenly described one as 'innocent'. The irony of it being that (according to my dad, who was often in police buildings as an electrician at the time) there was talk among northern police officers of having it off with prostitutes and refusing to pay them. There will be several officers (possibly even in that documentary) degrading the victims who were prostitutes publicly, possibly to distance themselves from having used their services. People complain about the police now, but there's plenty of improvement in standards of conduct over the last 40-50 years. I hope.

Wrestling is definitely subjective, because I don't recognise the company you're describing. With that being said, I also agreed with JR's comments to an extent. All it takes for a transition move to become a finisher is perceptive booking of that move. One of the things that baffles me about WWE's midcard is that WWE haven't utilised nobody kicking out of 'End of Days' to Baron Corbin's benefit. It could push him to an IC title reign with ease (and I don't even like him).

Word for word my thoughts on AEW. And the beauty of it having multiple stories woven into one narrative means the flexibility is there to shoot off in any direction. With WWE, the storylines are so rigidly between one or two wrestlers that one botch, or spoken error, or McMahon hissyfit throws an entire story off kilter into stop-start booking. With AEW, one botch, one spoken error, the main story keeps trundling on while the mistake gets fixed within a week or two.

This in a nutshell. You need to understand if you're using it that you're interacting with idealised versions of other people. Even with the best will in the world nobody is truly who their Facebook avatar says they are.

As good as Rothwell has been, he'd be who I drop for Dack tbh. Mid 3 would be: Holtby Travis Dack

A point in those circumstances with 10 men and from behind is just brilliant. Personally would've been happy with a draw before the game anyway, but we're just looking like we can beat who we want, however we need to provided there are 11 men on the pitch. The best teams are first and foremost hard to beat, and we're proving ourselves to be so imo.

I did consider my fandom the year that we seemed to be chanting racist things like 'he shags p***s' about Owen Coyle at every away game. Luckily I feel those kinds of dickheads are a minority in our (and most) fanbases. Not Millwall's though.
