  1. Well given that she is 23 now and doesn’t turn 24 until after the season starts, she should be able to buy an 18-23 ticket, surely?
  2. That’s my point, the club are saying she isn’t allowed an adult ST because she turns 24 BEFORE their cut-off point AND she isn’t allowed an 18-23 ST because she turns 24 during the season. Fuckwits. Question for WATR tomorrow night.
  3. The FAQs state she IS NOT ALLOWED an adult ticket. She should be able to get an 18-23 ticket.
  4. If Venkys had any bollocks about them, they’d be getting a Cobra or Kingfisher to sponsor us, and include a concourse deal to sell the stuff.
  5. It’s made up of first teamers that stayed up tbf. I’m going into this season with the lowest expectations, but I’d expect that eleven to stay up, assuming it’s backed up well with some solid transfers and the youngsters step up (Garrett, Gent, Gamble, Gilsenan and whoever else starts with a G). It seems we have a knack for someone stepping up with the goals unexpectedly. Hopefully Dolan this time.
  6. Now you’ve said that… Pears JRC Carter Hyam Brittain Tronstad Travis Pickering Hedge Dolan Siggy A bit industrial but I don’t mind it tbh. Easily transitions into 433 or 541. I’m preparing for life without Sammie btw 😭
  7. Priorities fella! If you wedding clashes with either Burnley game, you’re postponing it right?
  8. A defensive midfielder doesn’t have to be all-action blood and thunder. One of our greatest ever defensive midfielders couldn’t tackle for shit, but he screened the play, and blocked passes with his movement, before launching 50 yards passes onto a 5p coin. Wharton can do the same.
  9. I think she’s brill! Not biased to any team, just judges the incident vs the rules, instead of ‘interpreting’ them.
  10. Agreed but I fear we’d be more likely to sign Mr Miyagi. And he’s been dead for years.
  11. Even his more recent roles in The Hunger Games, The Undoing, and Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, he absolute shone like a beacon. Not often you can say that about non-British actors of that age (I can only otherwise think of Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Ian McKellen, those types).
  12. RIP Donald Sutherland. How did that man not win an Oscar? A superb actor well into his 80s.
  13. Anyone from Accy to Brockhall want a lift to the AGM from me?
  14. Why do I recall mention of a really specific branch of Western Union? I want to say Bradford?
