I wonder if it could be as stupid as 'we understood we'd agreed an option to buy, but when we received the paperwork, it stated obligation'? -

@J*B Have you the details of whoever told you it was worth staying up for? I've an Opera House in Sydney that he might like to buy... -

Maybe it HAS already been leaked and we're thrown off the scent? Undav, maybe? -

Did we give Etheridge an appropriately supportive reception? -

Shaping The Reaction to Neil Etheridge on Tuesday…

I don't think it's pedantry to avoid a misunderstanding. A statement condemning a racism incident, and condemning wider antisocial behaviour is absolutely fine. However, it is worded in such a way as to be easily misconstrued (deliberately, by the wrong people) as racism being a wider problem in our fanbase than it is. It might be pedantic, but that's just another way of saying it's right. -

Name me a midfielder we have that actually does this. -

A fair point. BUT It would've been easy to address the incidents separately even within one statement than to word it as Waggott did. -

The moment he put that up, a Forest supporting pal of mine text me to say he thinks Surridge is coming here. Struggle to believe it given they've just bought him, but I wouldn't say no! -

No, we CAN afford to buy them, it's paying them that seems to be the issue. -
Presents an interesting dilemma for them re: Rumble winner (Cody) or Sami at Mania. I feel like a good compromise would be Roman vs Sami at EC. Roman wins by interference from Jimmy and Solo. Beatdown continues after the match, with KO and Jey coming out to even the odds. Sets up for Mania: Roman vs Cody Solo vs Jimmy vs Jey Sami and KO team up for tag titles. Future: Solo eventually goes over Roman, and goes on a tear similar to Gunther's. Solo could then be the one to go over Rock at a future Mania or Summerslam.

The fact there's no link almost makes it more likely in my head, purely on the basis that the earliest we knew of ANY deal since GB came in was a week for Brittain and that's because he was already a target under Mowbray. -

The point of a project is getting unpolished gems rather than finished products, right? Players like Ugbo and Krasso (even Bishop to a degree) make sense as signings. A 1 in 4 record for a big unit or a pacey player isn't that bad. Supplying him can turn one into a proper player. We've seen it ourselves with Gestede (King too, to an extent) suddenly being supplied by Marshall and Conway. -
Yas is referring to Rovers, rather than Muslims, as 'us'.

Jon Stead finally usurped??? Let's hope Ugbo has at least as good a 6-month spell. -

Wonder if the time has come to drop Morton and stick Wharton back in there. -
Here's one for you. Remember the pipes I showed you earlier on this page? I successfully attached the 'Y' junction. Worked like a dream... until the cold snap to -10C just before Christmas. See, I had added the Y junction but didn't account for this adding length to the pipe (I needed to cut it down a touch, but didn't). So, the right-angle of the drainage pipe at the bottom became a slightly acute angle, with some standing water in it. Which froze. Utility room flooded on Dec 23rd. Spent Christmas Eve sorting it out, and in-laws agreed to host Christmas Dinner instead of us. Sorted now, it's just a funny story, but I swear Mrs E could've done her best Dirty Den impression on Christmas Day...

Iling-Junior COULD be feasible, even with his recent contract. People underestimate just how batshit it is at Juve at the moment, and stranger things have happened. Likely? Fuck no. But it's possible. And could be a sign of JDT using Serie A contacts... -

If he's the guy I'm thinking of, he's a genuinely superb dribbler, very much like when CR7 burst onto the scene at Sporting. That's a signing I could get behind, especially with the potential re-sale value of playing for England. For that reason, and the structure of our budgets, I think it'd actually be more likely a signing than a loan. -

I believe he would've nevertheless stayed if Ince weren't manager. -
A perfect fit for both parties imo
