  1. I think that if the appeal is successful, he may be more lenient towards whoever made the mistake, so it'd be unfair to go into it prior to that. Or even just wording something verbally in a different way to a submitted appeal argument could affect the outcome of the appeal.
  2. I'm glad you've started posting, love dry humour 😂
  3. My best manager used to describe himself as 'the shit umbrella'.
  4. All more competent people, mind.
  5. Can't explain why this got hidden, as it wasn't at our end (we can always see which mod -or the member themselves- hides a post). Yours simply said 'Hidden'. Any suggestions @J*B @StubbsUK?
  6. Honest opinion: Almost refreshing to get some honesty. Someone at the club has actually accepted responsibility. Glad that Brierley isn't impacted too much and will be here in the Summer. O'Brien, however, I feel desperately sorry for, and I hope we do right by the player as best as we can.
  7. But on Deadline Day, you'd think he'd have priorities straight.
  8. I'm get the feeling he might walk tbh. Doesn't strike me as a people-pleaser, from his dealings with players.
  9. He's right in a sense. It would've been a signing beneath our dignity in the Hughes years.
  10. I think it's because it's such a public and literally STUPID failure, whereas darker, nastier things can be explained away as 'clever'.
  11. Spat my brew out 😂
  12. Genuine Question: Would there be auch a scenario as the EFL agreeing to the deal, on condition of a fine or docked points? Purely so as not to halt the players' careers for 6 months; it is they whom I feel sorry for.
  13. I still can't get over how a man who can't market his own club to his own son, and is obsessed with the benefits of a 5yo sales con (NFTs), is Head of Commercial. And dared to tell us to our faces that there's nothing special about Blackburn Rovers. Twat.
  14. I wonder if it could be as stupid as 'we understood we'd agreed an option to buy, but when we received the paperwork, it stated obligation'?
  15. @J*B Have you the details of whoever told you it was worth staying up for? I've an Opera House in Sydney that he might like to buy...
  16. Don't... for my sanity... Ah fuck it I'll stay up.
  17. Maybe it HAS already been leaked and we're thrown off the scent? Undav, maybe?
  18. Did we give Etheridge an appropriately supportive reception?
  19. What if the announcements are: Markanday to Aberdeen on Loan and That concludes business for the day
  20. I don't think it's pedantry to avoid a misunderstanding. A statement condemning a racism incident, and condemning wider antisocial behaviour is absolutely fine. However, it is worded in such a way as to be easily misconstrued (deliberately, by the wrong people) as racism being a wider problem in our fanbase than it is. It might be pedantic, but that's just another way of saying it's right.
  21. Name me a midfielder we have that actually does this.
  22. A fair point. BUT It would've been easy to address the incidents separately even within one statement than to word it as Waggott did.
  23. The moment he put that up, a Forest supporting pal of mine text me to say he thinks Surridge is coming here. Struggle to believe it given they've just bought him, but I wouldn't say no!
