I think (retrospectively) starting Gueye and bringing Ohashi (either as a two or as a replacement) on is the better move going forward. Start the game with the brick shithouse pulling everyone from pillar to post (pace from ACD will help this), and finish the game with relentless pressing from Ohashi.

Completely agree with @Hasta above. Teams that whinge about the number of games are free to pull out of the competitions if they want. In fact, I’d like someone with guts in the FA or PL or even EFL to publicly say exactly that.

Enjoyed that half tbh. For a manager with a reputation of playing quite basic, no-nonsense footy, we’re playing some entertaining stuff imo. Not quite the slick stuff of JDT’s best matches, but has hallmarks of Hughesy/Souey footy. I should emphasise ‘for this level’. I’m falling in love with Beck too.
