  1. Ofc he's a reserve, he's not displacing the captain.
  2. There's tinkering, and there's a clear plan. So far every game has seen a clear plan implemented. After about 5 mins of each half, you can work out what we're doing.
  3. To whom do we give plaudits for a great end to this little story?
  4. Completely agree, I was DESPERATE for him to score. But, perhaps even better, he made sure two of his wasted chances became chances for others which were then slotted in (Dolan's and Markanday's).
  5. Captain Dack having a quiet game. Keeps coming deep for the ball, but still has a magic touch here and there. Would love any of Dack, Vale, or Markanday to score (fantastic touch from the latter to create the shot that hit the post).
  6. YES! Then he got it back with a 40-yarder Vs Reading. Still looks odd seeing that goal with short hair!
  7. Not quite the same, but I remember Henry scoring a genuinely fabulous goal in off the bar after 1-2 with Fabregas before he left Arsenal. When he was subbed off, all 4 sides of Ewood stood and applauded.
  8. Honestly, if it had been Big Sam still in charge at the time, I might have believed it.
  9. Do I remember he actually took a while to really bed in properly, ie: For other players to get up to his brain speed? I seem to remember a lot of 'Tugay passing to his invisible friend' up to the end of the Worthy Cup season.
  10. Nearest we've got to a humiliation like that since is probably an FA Cup match under Hughesy where we (PL) lost 4-1 to Coventry City (Champ) courtesy of the Maltese Miniscule Machine Michael Mifsud.
  11. Jinx machine, you just HAD to didn't you?
  12. It just hurts when you catch feelings for a loan player 😭😭😭💙🤍💙🤍
  13. Chelsea? Could it be a roundabout link to interest in JPvH?
  14. Have to confess my favourite thing about the film is during Summer Lovin', during John Travolta's bits. There's some bloke dancing who's not even involved in the conversation dancing to the song about 50yds away.and it cracks me up whenever I see it.
  15. This is the issue. At £429, I'm just waiting around for freebies and cheap tix (like the cup game tomorrow). At £200-250, they'd have my money every season.
  16. We wouldn't need the PL cash anyway for this. Even if we only add up to 12,000 STs at half this year's price, we only lose a relatively small amount in cash, probably made up by extra food and drink sales. Above that we're making more money.
  17. Food for thought. Last time there was a cost of living crisis, we sold 19,000 Season Tickets. Prices started at £199 (tenner a game). Why we can't do that again (start at £230) and get folk in the ground (y'know, to buy food and drink and merch every other week), I don't know. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/4542583.blackburn-rovers-chairman-bringing-football-people/
  18. A lot of words but says very little imo.
  19. Brilliant idea. Did it just come to you? Like St Paul on the road to domestos?
  20. We're not expecting 46 goals from Trav. Or indeed, half our goal tally.
  21. Totally irrelevant to what he was saying, but do carry on.
