Glad to hear he's recovering! Did the club pay him for his contribution to our win?

Here's an idea, and forgive me if this seems mind-blowingly radical, but bare with me: If a mod hides your post, and you keep posting it, and it keeps getting hidden, I bet it REALLY impresses your classmates at playtime tomorrow. OR it's really annoying, so just save us the hassle at 11pm when some of us are doing the night shift babywatch, when we're starting work at 5am, yeah?

If I remember rightly, it was a loan with an obligation (not option) to buy to get around missing the permanent signing deadline. I even think it was technically a £7m loan fee which became a free transfer. -

Exactly this. I, in fact, prefer the opposite system of a little man, big man combo. -

Attendances: A cause for concern

@Ianrally It's pretty simple. It's to allow those in discalced congregations to use the prayer room as readily as you. It's not solely (haha) for Muslim prayer, or Jewish prayer, or Christian prayer (which I'm assuming is your take on it, given your references to specific exclusionary Christian prayer rooms at other clubs). If you prefer not to pray barefoot, don't use it and pray elsewhere. -
Hi all, just want your thoughts on something. I'm thinking of setting up a bit on the side (not like that) on my days off. Do you think there'd be scope for something like me coming to 'you' (whoever the person would be) for the following: £10 - travel costs (would take as a deposit) to anywhere in Lancashire. Completely clean and polish (including rust removal) - £1.50 per club, whole bag £20. £1 per extra club above 14. Paint fills (designs agreed beforehand) £1.50 per club, whole bag £20 (assuming already clean). £1 per extra club above 14. Combos: Clean (including rust removal), polish, and paint fill (designs agreed beforehand) - £2.50 per club, £30 whole bag, £2 per extra club above 14. What do you think? I think the USP is that I would come to you. That's convenient, it's cheaper than postage (£15-ish), doesn't risk clubs going missing in the post (as has happened to me), and you wouldn't have to make a trip anywhere. Thoughts? I'm thinking of aiming at the more casual golfer, as I'm pretty sure regular golfers look after their equipment more readily.

21 Years since our League Cup win in 2002

I think I've told the story before, but a couple of years ago my cousin was doing some sort of property deal with Hughesy. He's an Arsenal fan, but he knew how much I liked Hughes so invites me into the Zoom conversation. I told Sparky how much I loved his performance in the Worthy Cup final, especially playing in midfield when traditionally a striker. He replied: 'I like it when people tell me about that day. It's one of my favourite medals because you don't win many at 38. But being played in midfield, I thought Graeme was trying to fucking kill me!'- 50 replies

Some of the 'reasons not to sign Burke' would apply to Dack imo and I'm glad he's returning soon. Cautiously optimistic. If we sign Chris Wood (don't give a shiny shite he's a Dingle), that would be a genuinely stunning signing imo. He's everything I want Gally to be, and would be akin to Lambert's signing of Danny Graham for us imo. -

Ok ok, it's late and I've had a drink, but hear me out: Dani Alves Gonzalo Castro Nabil Bentaleb Kwadwo Asamoah Paulinho Diego Perotti All without clubs, all experienced, perhaps a touch of PL class in them yet. -
Apparently lots of lower shareholders at Burnley selling up. They've been offered half-cash, half-credit. The mistake (on the club side) is that the credit can be used on STs and hospitality. In my FIL's case, that's 5 years of STs in a hospitality box 'for free', plus cash.

We know dude, it was on the last page. Still funny btw 🤣

Might be that that I've seen.

It's on video camera, I've seen it myself albeit as a clip as part of a Whatculture List

Thinking aloud (freebies) and strictly spitballing re: experienced hands down the home straight: Hatem Ben Arfa - 34 but might enjoy one last hunt for glory helping us get up? André Wisdom - RB cover, experienced, 28yo. Maicon - CB, experienced, international. Winston Reid - as above. Henri Saivet - 31, attacking midfield, possibly no need due to returning Dack. Mikel - 34, past it potentially, but experienced at the top level. Contracts ending: One last shoot for the Premier League? Arturo Vidal - You know why! Pre-contract too. Felipe - 32, centre back Axel Witsel - 32, midfield Danny Wass - 32, midfield Cenk Tosun? Steve Cook at Bournemouth? -

Who are you? And what have you done with Sparks?

I've not yet seen it but intend to. I'm not sure how I got this far through life without knowing that JFK was shot on live television and even now you can watch it. Grisly.

There's a lot of nonsense in this post but welcome nonetheless. Which is the 'Walkers steel stand'? Why are you surprised you were singing on your own if you sat on your own? Which part of the Preston game was this, because I recall it being a pretty fun game to be at in the BBE? 'Last 30 years', so you missed on virtually everything? The good times AND the bad? Yet now you're slagging the fans who stayed when you couldn't be arsed? Baffling. -
Well spotted 🤣

Spanish Flu started in Feb 1918 and didn't become a mere seasonal illness until April 1920 (after 4 waves). By that timeline we should begin to become free of Covid (aside from seasonal illness) just after this winter, which is rapidly looking very similar to the 4th Spanish Flu wave.
