Not exactly awe inspiring news, an Average Premiership midfielder if that. Was hoping Wigan would offer a nice sum to tempt John Williams to sell in Jan. Bring back Donnelly and Danns. -

Just pointing out the obvious, hes taking up a valuable space which could be used to blood Derbyshire. A positive, Mccarthy was great upfront and Todd was good, not great because Reading had a bunch of chances. -

I can see Neill or Mcevely conceding a pen or getting sent off..our defense are ###### scared of Doyle, Sparky should start finding Benny everytime hes bloody offside! -

What a stupid line up, Surely Gally should be on the LW where Mcevely is. -

Hopefully Mokoena wont be in the first 16, a complete waste of a team spot. Derbyshire and Benny to start. -

So the good piece of Skill skinning their left back, and putting in a great cross near the beginning was just a hallucination then? Gally was only coming deep because he knew the donkeys in midfield werent capable of playing any decent balls to him or Derbyshire. How can you judge him on last night, The midfield were awful, and the defenders were just playing Hoofball everytime they got the ball. -

Yes and help Brum get promoted in process? No thanks. An Onform Dunn is Brums best player, Without him they have to make do with Danns and Johnson. -

He did well against MILLWALL, He hasnt done anything against decent opposition. Rovers 6 you havent even seen Peter play, yet you keep championing him. The out of form Morten brief cameo replacing him really spelled out the gulf in class between the two. Am I the only one who isnt impressed with Peter then? He couldnt even beat their right back last night. Where as slowcoach Gally near the start after dropping deep skinned him putting in a cracking cross, he caused their right back more trouble then Peter did in the whole game. What is Tim Sherwoods problem with Rovers, hes seem a very bitter man. Its rare you get commentators having sly digs at their old club where they made their name. Did Sherwood used to slag us off when Souness was in charge? -

Gally did well when he got the ball ( which wasnt often thanks to a crap midfield ), he played some good pass'es and skinned their left back near the start of the match then putting in a superb cross. Peter is just not very good, not impressed at all, and I can now see why Hughes hasnt rested MGP for Peter. -

Im with Jim, Id prefer Mike Newell, at least he isnt full of excuses, will give fringe players a chance and wont have his own favorites who he refuses to drop.
