  1. It feels like we’re in the dead zone, and a green mile away from any manager worth his salt coming in.
  2. I actually agree with the bit in bold if we were to appoint someone like Kean or Danny Murphy. Could even be a revenue stream if we sold tickets 👍
  3. I’ll have to check out that record label, that’s just the sort of thing I’m into. Never knew much about mungos hi fi until I heard a mr scruff mix with them on it.
  4. Dave Clarke played an awesome one. If you’re a fan of bicep, their boiler room from AVA is excellent. Also the Mark Archer one is very good if you miss the 90s 🥹
  5. Really poor by hedges there, had time and still passed it straight to QPR. Get Kargbo on!
  6. Yes Dolan! Wasn’t sure about him stepping up but he took it well.
  7. So close there, Dolan almost made amends. This game is being played at a frantic pace, could end up with a lot of goals.
  8. My takeaway from the season so far is that it feels great to be firmly in the top 6 and not gherkin around mid table. If the venkys don’t back him then they can burger off. I heard from a good sauce that we’ll be strengthening the squad soon.
  9. Snake Derrick (Steven Davis) Von Mistelroum my two favourites
  10. Eh? In fairness, the match report I was referring to was in our old friend, The Guardian, and I wasn’t aiming my post at you. But you kind of did say the match was unexciting.
  11. Anecdotal I know but I enjoyed it and my Utd supporting friends both said they’d be happy to come again and that we should make plans soon. Our only quibble was with the ridiculous queues for beer and pies. Unbelievable! I got a shock when I read a match report stating that the match was boring and not eventful. Maybe just because the match meant so much, but I was on the edge of my seat throughout. True, there wasn’t much quality on display from either side, but we’re Rovers supporters, not Barcelona. If you can’t get excited by a closely-fought derby like that then you may as well give up on football.
  12. A frustrating match. Felt like we deserved a draw and neither team did enough to win it. It actually hurt to see the Burnley bastards celebrating that goal. I thought Brittain was excellent. Ran up and down the right all match and called out for the ball on a number of occasions when he had acres of space. Gueye makes trouble but he can’t pass, had a poor shot and is very slow. Why we don’t aim at him from corners is beyond me though. We were beaten today by a far better squad but as others have said we ran them very very close. The players worked so hard and I can’t criticise them even if the skill element is missing. We signed these guys for free or buttons; comoaring Gueye to Gallagher is mental - fee and wages are tiny in comparison. We will get worse than this creditable performance if money isn’t invested - we’re awful at creating and finishing chances already, and when Dolan leaves and Beck returns to Liverpool we’ll have two massive holes to fill. I loved seeing Ewood full and the atmosphere was unreal. I’ll be back again soon, probably in summer months rather than January as I’m still trying to thaw out 6 hours later in the airport.
