  1. You're completely right, but also I can see a lot of the remaining fanbase being glad to see the back of him. It won't happen even if everyone was apoplectic with rage - there seems to be no organisation at fan level at the moment.
  2. Is there a plan Q or are we now just going to hope an agent offers us someone?
  3. Losing another player to Nice so he's staying
  4. Genuinely - I do not expect them to leave. I'd argue our only hope is that when it's passed down a generation, there's some more interest.
  5. I think this is a really good outlying point, specific to this season. For me to get to Ewood involves 3 unreliable (at the best of times) trains or an hour drive each way, made worse currently by the state of the M6 between Warrington and Wigan, which has put me off considerably and fed into my feelings of apathy. I know others in a similar situation who've been to less games this season than for many many years. If there was a feeling of excitement & positivity around the ground with swash-buckling football and players giving it everything, the above wouldn't even be a remote concern and I'd be there as much as possible, however I can't be arsed getting to Ewood for 12.30PM after a 3 hour journey on trains or sitting in standstill traffic.
  6. I think for me it's the monotony, you know what's going to happen almost immediately and spend the rest of the time watching (at home/the pub/the match) waiting for the inevitable and then being pissed off when it happens. Even the good results (both Norwich games) recently haven't given me any inspiration. The lack of signings, the lack of a wailing banshee in the middle, the lack of a final touch, the lack of fight. It's all too much to get that worked up by now. I feel passive towards Rovers, which is itself a wholly unpleasant feeling.
  7. Nice to see that Dom Hyam has taken yesterday's defeat well enough to piss off to Dubai for some winter sun.
  8. Why didn't the Wharton brothers play?
  9. Based on Twitter comments I can’t see Mowbray being there in January to sign him.
  10. Unsure on trains, but you can get the x41 bus from Manchester to Accy, and then head onwards from there via bus/taxi.
  11. They can forfeit individual games, but as others have said, they could’ve also forfeited the earlier ones that got called off, so other clubs would have a lot or arguments.
  12. Ignorant old prick. Good riddance.
  13. I use this regularly living in Cheshire and my wife's family go mental as they do not get it at all.
  14. Bus as I said, chances are, every coach/bus/minibus transiting into Burnley will still end up being escorted to their destination. I am not knocking it, it's just inevitable.
  15. No trains being available and therefore no choice really but to get on a coach/minibus, which will no doubt be escorted from the motorway junction on arrival. All they’re changing is that we don’t need to be at Ewood for 8.30AM. I’m also certain the club will have booked out enough coaches for that full allocation too, so independently organising one will be a nightmare, too.
  16. He really is a prick, isn’t he?
  17. Everything has been pedestrian. It feels like a hangover from the Mowbray era but I worry it’s just the players’ attitude.
  18. He’s not had his head up once this game Hirst, really don’t think on first impressions that he’s going to be the answer.
  19. All over the show here. What the fuck is going on?
  20. I'd probably prefer Dembele myself, but interesting that a long term linked player is represented by the very people he's praising, somewhat obscurely.
  21. Odd that he specifically names Mola's representatives as allowing their players to move around for better opportunities. Another client of theirs is Todd Cantwell...
  22. Not that's it's really relevant, but he's doing wonders for me on my FM Villa save.
  23. I agree that if he owes us nothing (for his development) we do owe him less than nothing, but unfortunately for us anything we do to essentially spite him, spites us too
