His top level is very very good, but obviously there's some issues with consistency there. Left forward/striker - I think he'd be a useful addition to the squad. Are people realistically expecting better? Perhaps a talented PL youngster but I can't see us signing anyone with a better pedigree on a permanent transfer.

Hedges looks short on confidence, that pass to Beck in the first was atrocious. Both him and Dolan are in the team because they work hard but we can find better.

The problem with Bucko and JRC are they are more prone to making mistakes and do not cover/protect our defenders in the same way that Travis and Tronstad do. Our squad might be marginally stronger on Feb 3, but I'm disappointed so far as we have only replaced like for like so far, not added anything - and certainly not improved.

Yeah. But we also know there are snowball effects and one deal can trigger a series of consecutive deals. Things change quickly. But worrying that we haven't announced a new chief scout yet, and that this is only the second transfer window to the men in charge at the moment - a vital transfer window too.

Eustace wouldn't accept Forshaw unless he's promised funds for an attacking player. The big question is if we're able to attract a goalscorer within our budget. It's not easy and I have my doubts...
