I think Duru can debutise at RB, along with JRC, and we have enough CB's. GK need to spend £2m+ LB need to spend £1m Two wingers/forwards £2.5m each CM £3m So that's pretty much all of the SS reinvested, and that's the bare minimum in my view. He won't be their highest earner and if they suffer relegation, which most people expect, they'll have one heck of a player to fire them back up again. If he does well in the PL he's worth at least £10m as he's a proven PL by then. Low risk imo.

15k for Dolan would be mad. Give him 10k and a bonus if he reaches certain milestones. Hope to see some more consistency from him this season but certainly not expecting it. If he doesn't sign and he leaves next summer then it's probably better for all parties that he does play; we can set the asking price higher and the tribunal panel will surely look at his pedigree and not rip us off too badly if it comes to that.

SS is one of the best players we've had under Venky's and I'm guessing he's our first top goalscorer since Shearer (?). Some players figure something out and JDT made him make smarter runs into the box and his movement for his goal against Derby is a perfect example of that. Works his socks off too. That he's still in development at 29 is a testament to him really. Remember it took him a season to really start producing the goods so especially Yuki I think needs to find his feet, while Gueye has a different style and if he can get 10 goals and a few assists (or second last pass) then he will have been a success.

We definitely need bodies in. Our opener against Derby could've gone both ways, it's easy to pat our own backs and say we have had a stormer of an opener, but we fell into some of our old ways in that second half and hardly touched the ball for long spells. I would bring in a GK, LB, CM and a couple of wingers with pace if I was in charge. And preferably someone who can cross the ball as we have a beast no. 9 who will ragdoll most CB's in the league if we put some balls in the box.

I'd tell Dolan to sign that contract offer if he wants the chance to be the next star boy. Thank you to Szmodics for keeping us up. In the way he scuffs his shots, I agree. I think he'll be a real handful though, and hopefully some of his mishits will become good crosses.

Brentford are very much stats-driven in everything and analyse every player they recruit thoroughly. Mentality and physical attributes are more or less static and the skillset can be worked on and improved. Very much the same way Broughton was thinking, but I don't know whether we got anything like that going before everyone left in the summer. Plus when you have zilch to spend we have to accept bigger risks and are shopping in the lower categories of players like Telalovic.

Looks keen for goals but could've passed it to Szmodics as well on a couple of occasions. It's good that we don't rely so much om Sammie in that sense that it become predictable that we're going down the same route each attack. We have some players that are tricky to play against now and buzzy bees like Dolan and Ohashi will be able to rush and gather the fruits that are dropping around Gueye who is a presence we have been missing since D. Graham was here. Just hope he can coached into a better finisher with his feet as well.
