Nope.

If we want to look up the table I think I would look to offload Travis and Bucko. JRC is good and versatile, but a bit too injury prone.

v Bristol City (a) - 10/04/2024

Should look to win this. Bristol City with nothing left to play for this season. We're up for it, we don't look a nervous bunch at the moment. -
Rovers Rumours & Speculation
Torgeir replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think we need to trade Travis into someone cheaper and equally good, or better. That shouldn't be a huge problem. If it was true that him and JDT didn't see eye to eye, it looked like he had a lot of support from the player group, so they obviously rate him. S. Wharton came out with some pretty damning comments too, which I thought was a bit over the top to be honest. He's a pro... If SW is in charge of negotiating then it will be a long summer before we get a striker in, if at all. Szmodics I would ask north of £10m for, he might have had a clause inserted as he was already in red-hot form when he signed his new deal. We really shouldn't stand in his way if he wants to leave, he's been carrying us all season. But don't let him go to a division rival please. -
I actually don't think he'd cost too much. £500-750k?
-
Same team with Chrisene in for Pickering. We should try and sign him on a permanent, shouldn't be too expensive.

John Eustace - our head coach
Torgeir replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It's not about Eustace at this point, it's about the strained relationship between the club and the fans and he happens to be in the crossfire. With good results people will start forgetting again and the atmosphere will change. -

Definitely. Agree with both your posts. -

We look a lot better with four at the back and with Tronstad back in the team. Think McFadzean might not play for us again if we avoid injuries/suspensions for Hyam, Wharton and Carter. -
One in ten. Needs to become more consistent but a very good match by Dolan. Looked for the pass as well, plus we had bodies forward.
-
No problem at all. He's only scored 23 league goals so far and the next guy in our squad is on five.
-
I think we can beat them. They concede quite a few, and I wouldn't want to play us at the moment considering we're actually quite solid and tough to beat. 2-1 or 1-1.
-
The problems lie with Waggott and upwards.

And more importantly; JDT got the absolute best out of Szmodics and Eustace hasn't. He gets in a lot fewer goalscoring oppurtunities now than earlier in the season and that's because we're less open. Been scoring against all odds recently. I would instruct Hedges, Dolan etc. to look for our only outlet as their decision-making (especially Dolan's) is questionable at times. -
Nothing's changed here. His decision making is absymal and he blows hot once every dozen games. Smells of journeyman if he leaves us.

Football is about opinions. I think he's more than ok, but it's hard to be anything more with the dross that's surrounding him in this team. If we stay up this season, I wonder if our target will be avoid relegation again until we go down. What does it take for our owners to sell up and Waggott to leave? -

If they revolted then they need to be ushered out in the summer. Unprofessional. -

Crazy we let Kaminski go for £2.5m. Almost as bonkers as 2 wins from our latest 21 league games. -

Good enough today against the league leaders but our goalkeepers are trying their best to send us down to a division where they're better suited. If we had equalised, I have a feeling that Ipswich would've stepped it up a notch. Five minutes added on was bonkers, they were time-wasting and must've been at least ten subs. -

Did I read somewhere on this forum that the Cheston was to blame for the McGuire cock-up? Or is it allegedly Silvesters fault? -
Didn't hear that. Are you sure? Installments both way; incomings and outgoings. Can't be used as an excuse.
-
For the record I don't want Gregg gone. Waggott out.
-
If he isn't listened to at all then I can't see much point in having him on the books. Just go back to the old model with SW and a yes man.
-
Andy Bayes is a good journalist. Gregg is a smooth talker and has had a lot of time to prepare for the questions. It's too late. No guarantees for the summer. Total shambles of a club. Troy Deeney popping in training...hope he's not replacing Ben Rosen. 😂
