  1. Beat you to it, Chadster 😉 So Ismael first choice it seems, if not him then someone from left field perhaps.

  4. The release clause should be a reflection of his (relatively low) salary.
  5. That's pretty good then 😉 He can join Arsenal after he has kept us up in the Premier League next season.
  6. We've had our last two managers walk out of the club, and the one before they let his contract just run out without proper communications (seemingly) after five years. We have continually underinvested in the squad and are this season's over-achievers, so I am not all too sure that the jobs is _THAT_ attractive. Ending up with Ismael or Wagner I would say is a lot better than I feared. Remember when we hired Eustace that there were reports that Duncan Ferguson was closed to signing? Good grief...
  7. Ismael or Wagner I don't mind either at this point. Think Wagner will represent a bigger change in style at this moment, whereas Ismael seems to be more pragmatic in his approach. We need someone in fast, who can start preparing for the next game asap.
  8. Just own up to it mate.
  9. Highly predictable and the reason we struggle in the player transfer market as well.
  10. Toth was really poor against Wolves and obviously wasn't our first choice during the summer. A few of the names linked would've been first choice by now, I'm sure. Seeing Toth in action and he actually reminds me a little of Pears...
  11. Not sure he could pick it up but it was far from convincing, I agree. One can single out pretty much the entire starting eleven in this one though.
  12. Pears is a sub-ordinary keeper who's had a great season up until (close to) this point. The bigger issue here is how we get overrun and can't get hold of the ball against fecking Swansea. Totally dominated/thumped 3-0 and no one in Rovers colours can complain. When we offer no threat whatsoever on the counter as well, there's no point watching really.
  13. Gueye has a chance to win it, and their no. 9 gets two stabs at it. Poor by Pears but just as poor by the defenders around him.
  14. Coventry have real momentum and will overtake us. Only thing in this match I find comfort in, is that Eustace would've had the same approach - and most likely the same result. Hopefully we can get a new man sorted soon, we need a breath of fresh air inside the club.
  15. Back to earth. Again an uninspiring lineup, don't know what they see in Forshaw over Buckley tbh. And when Hedges got outpaced in the first half it was evident that we needed a differetn setup. Impossible task for Big Mak upfront with no support, and Swansea were all over us. Only thing worse than Rovers was the referee, Gavin Ward is stealing a living. Jesus Christ.
  16. They'll both offer higher wages than us too.
  17. You don't have a source? Did you pick up a rumour from Facebook, via someone you know or a contact at the club? It's not that hard, you know.
  18. Elliott will mentiom him sometime later "As many are already aware, O'Neil ruled himself out of the running some time ago"
  19. Get lost, Siggy. Loyalty goes both ways. "They put me in an impossible position. My contract was expiring after the season and I've been injured. It's maybe easy to throw someone away when you're not going to renegotiate."
  20. We don't know the circumstances and not the full list over candidates that are still in the process. Rudy joined Boro 2 January 2017 and Karanka left 16 March 2017.
  21. I agree but we don't know that Gestede wants Karanka, do we?
  22. If Karanka is so bad then Gestede will know that from working under him. He was heavily linked to this job a year ago, and again now. Don't know how some of you can say this candidate is Gestede's and this candidate is Waggott's...
