Rob Edwards!? Big no thank you. I'd rather take Dyche.

I think some of the some accounts are set up to auto like posts including certain key words, so might be that...

Where's that new chief football scout gone?

Or Suhail?

I agree. But when you have a non-scoring striker in a non-scoring team, it becomes a little bit of an issue. If he had more goals in him, he wouldn't be here but hopefully he can hit a green patch of goal-scoring form soon. I went from 'loving' him to mehhhhh back to loving him again. Great character and works his socks off for the team, just lacks dicipline too but a really funny character 😄

Cantwell has been ill and then struggled with a calf strain. Not sure he's at 100% so maybe that's why they've left it so late to put him on. Certain starter otherwise, but I think a lot here can agree that he could contribute a lot more. He gives the ball away needlessly and often chooses a difficult technique when passing, and because of that stops the progression in many attacks imo. Would hope more of that was coached out of him by now. Easy to make videos of him 'pur' and a lot of material for the highlight reels, but there are a lot more material for the lowlights. I'm highly critical about Dolan too, but someone here pointet out that we fell back as soon as he went off. Have to remind myself that he has a lot of intensity in his game and decision-making will naturally be harder. Till try and give him a new crack in my mind. Hedges I have given up, he's a 6 out of 10 when he's at his max.

You’re right. I’m still reserving judgement on how effective he’ll be
-
And Weimann? Wouldn’t have spotted him if it wasn’t for his bleached hair. Hardly got a touch, did he? And the. Cantrell comes on and is even worse 😂
-
We’ll see. I’m not passing judgement, just reserving my enthusiasm.

Quick off the mark. Kargbo probably faster, but I’m not expecting much. The only player we’ve signed this window that we know will improve the starting eleven is Dennis. And big question marks over his fitness considering he hasn’t played much for a good while.
-
Kargbo is going to need to adjust. He looks quick but also very small/lightweight. Might be more of the same as ACD.
-
If WBA beat Sheff W and we lose to WBA they’ll be five points ahead of us.
-
Eustace had the chance to adjust but he didn’t show up tonight either.
-
Squeezed almost 90 minutes out of Hedges in that one. Ffs
-
We were chasing them all game. Didn’t show up tonight. Forshaw is playing 5-aside with his mates.

Shit performance. Big squad full of mediocrity. QPR the better side and deserved the win, Cifuentes has got them playing some good football. Relegation form…

January Transfer window

Could be both. If we're leading it could make sense to play them both at the same time. Alan Nixon said Beck has been carrying an injury and that's why we changed course this window. -

I think we'll have to wait and see. These signings certainly gives us a lot more room tactically and hopefully some quality in the final third to help us edge out games. I don't think Boro will stop conceding and WBA is a bit of an unknown as well - will Mowbray hit the ground running? Two massive games now where we really should've most or all our January signings up to speed, but we have shown we can be competitive with almost any team in this division with the players we've had up until this point. -

I think Dennis can play wide in a forward three, and also as a lone striker. He's got great technique but sometimes holds onto the ball a little too long - not unlike Dolan, but that's where the comparison ends. Different class to him. -

Correct, but that's how congested this division is. I don't think any of our current youngsters have stood out enough to get more minutes this season, and unfortunately for Tyjon he's had a few injuries that has halted his progress. Really annoying that we managed to crash out of the Carabao cup, as that was their only arena. Overall think this window was pretty poor, when comparing to our rivals. Comparing it to a Rovers transfer window I'd say it's quite decent, and it seems to me that prices have inflated further and deals locally are harder to get done than before in that sense. Woodrow I hope is a chuck him on when we need to put on some pressure and our forwards have run out of steam. Dennis is a certain starter, he's exciting and hopefully him and Kargbo will give us a lot of excitement. Dennis is our first Nigerian player since Yakubu, if I remember correctly. Also hope our new African stars will help each other adapt and shine on and off the pitch. Another important fixture tonight, only Kargbo is ready for that one, correct? -

Our staff should be well drilled for this kind of scenario -

As an inverted winger too! (for Sunderland :D) Great signing for Boro -

Biggest problem is he's one-paced. Struggles with the intensity and probably has lost a bit of explosiveness from his hamstring injuries. -

Dennis is on hefty wages... a bit strange and off character if we do end up signing him. -

If so then Leonard must be leaving on a loan. I fully support that, if true.
