My LFC supporting friend says he’s a ‘cool players’. A lot of energy, unafraid and takes players on… the type of player that makes things happen. And everyone who comes through the LFC academy these days are tactically sound and hard-working. Would walk straight into our team.

Danns is a big talent. Plays a lot more mature than his age. Would become a fan favourite here. But no chance in hell we’re signing both him and Mohamed.

We reportdely bid £800k for Youan, a player Hibs signed for around £1m. Now Stoke are bidding £1.5m? Contract expires after next season.

I hope he can endure the physicality of this division, as Ohashi has done. And he will obviously have to track back and be diciplined in the press, but I'm sure they'll get him up to pace quickly enough. Dolan is a weird player, he can definitely make things happen but also rushes out in the press and gets beaten easily, and so many poor decisions so must be frustrating to play with.

Dangerous play is when you lift your foot or something similar but don't necessarily make contact. Blood was pouring from Hyams cheek afterwards so it was definitely a penalty. Do you think if a goalkeeper comes out for the ball and boxes someone in the head and misses the ball completely, that it's not a pen?

Kargbo seemed like a backup solution in the summer and a backup solution now. I think we're lowballing offers for targets. Everything seems to revolve around the wages to turnover ratio, meaning we renew contracts (pay rises) as late as possible, and sign players that command low fees and therefor usually low wages. The odd exceptions are there, like Cantwell, but I'm sure they will try and get rid of him again if they can make a profit. As soon as we enter 'established Championship players' area, we can't compete with our rivals. The only established players we get are the over-established ones that are on a downward spiral. Doesn't mean they can't make a contribution to the group but at this point we need to strengthen our starting eleven with a few new faces.

He blows hot and cold and has been really poor at times, but that's why he's out on loan and not playing in the Premier League. A loan player like Harvey Elliott we know there's zero chance of us signing him on a permanent deal after his loan expires, whereas a player like ACD we have more chance of landing. Brighton probably want to assess him first anyway, but anyway... Looking forward to getting this transfer window out of the way, and regardless of who we bring in from now on and till it shuts, there are some serious questions to be asked.

ACD has offered something off the bench at times, but has looked totally lost when starting. Good at pressing and has shown glimpses - I think it's a player there and wouldn't mind us signing him on a permanent in the summer.

Does it appease us when we end up failing to sign anyone? Again...? Not sure. Eustace entered a pretty hostile climate when he arrived last season, I think there will be some sort of backlash if we only sign Kargbo and slip down the table as a result of it.

Being linked with anyone and everyone at the moment. Taking that link with a pinch of salt, but wouldn’t be surprised that we bid substantially lower than everyone else 😂
