Ah gutted I actually lived in Peru for a year and started going to Sporting Cristal games and remained a fan from afar. Love Grimaldo, and there is actually talent in Peruvian League and Uruguay. We forget a lot of them play Argentinian and Brazilian clubs that go for 10/20+M. Sporting have a few players I think could do a banging job in the championship. Between Tavara, Chavez, Lora who are all young dynamic players, and Love the technical ability of Yotun. But hey ho I am sure I will be told they are not good enough for Rovers but I do love the Peruvian league 🤣 -
The England Team - all the news, views…
roverstdt replied to roverandout's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Thought i would join the England game conversation! I just don't understand Gareth selection. We have on paper the best team in the Euros and the selection to me is just not correct. We can't play Foden on the left he just doesn't suit that position. Guehi i was delighted with! I feel very relaxed with him there. Come the next game I would love to see: -----------Pickford---------- Walker--Stones--Guehi--Trippier ---------Bellingham----Rice---- Saka--------Foden-----Gordon/Eze/Palmer --------------Kane----------- I think Bellingham so much more added steel to the defence being back there. -

Big fan of Bielik, would like to see us go for Drameh as well, and would be delighted to see Chrisene back on Loan. Would be a brilliant start to the window. I follow Ligue 1 and as much as I like Mohamed Bamba i jsut don't see him coming -

They are all leaving next year I don’t believe in spending it all in one window. Invest in several years spreading the budget across -

Agreed but I would actually be for all three of those exits. If we can raise 15m or so and above on those transfer plus Dolan, us raya cash. I don’t expect all to be made available but would expect a 3-5m invested into the squad -

Gregg going no biggie. He did very well with the contract situation but that was it. I don't believe he found Smozdics i think that was already in the pipe. Big window hopefully Wharton moves i wouldn't be too sad if we sold Sammie for 20m if we can. Gally and Dolan extension i understand, i would like us to tie down Siggy as well, i believe there is a player there. Carter I am no convinced of, but strangely enough i am quite happy with Hyam, Carter, O'Riodan, Kyle. I wouldn't mind getting Ben Chrisene back on loan as back up left back. With Travis coming back as well we will have some steal in midfield. I would like a creative midfielder to come in and 2 or 3 strikers to come back. I am quite happy with Leonard i feel like he will only get better. Pears needs to go asap, would love a proper safe Keeper in if possible. Markanday can go as well i have given up on him. -

When did I ever say it was a victory 🤣. Clearly you didn’t get my point of miss management on the Rothwell comment and Disz and Dack comment…instead pointing out things that aren’t there read the comment. -

To be honest i am happy with Buckley decent player who needs focus. Wharton 22m very good fee for an unproven talent but who could go all the way. With the sale of Kaminski (2.5M), Wharton (22m), Raya(4/5M), Philips (2.2m), if we can ship out Gallagher that is over 30M of sales generate across the coming seasons. Just imagine had we were able to sale Rothwell, Diaz for the 5 and 7M respectively and we would be on a far cosier financial position on top of the investment that Venky's put in. No idea who this USA guy is. Young has a bag of goal could be interesting. I would like to see us sign Isaac Hayden, and ideally Callum O Hare who is at the end of his contract but no idea if it is at all posible. -

Unfortunately the team has no confidence in the keeper, I actually think part of the problem is Carter who hasn't progressed much this season in my eyes. I think we need to play Wharton ahead of Carter with Hyam. Additionally the team just needs a clear out too many passengers. I would rather quality over quantity. The likes of, Markanday, Pears, Gallagher, Hedges, Carter, Ennis, are not going to cut it in my eyes. Letting Travis go is mind boggling, shame Buckley isn't available he would have been useful. Cut ties invest invest invest. This squad is down to the bare bones. -

Need a bit of a clear out in my eyes. Sale: Hedges, Markanday, Pears, Jordan Eastham. Loan: Gamble Sign: Gk, Winger, Winger, Striker, LB -

Develop the young blood and stay in the division is the only goal of the season to which JDT is following suit. We desperately lack additional legs and our players need help. Tired players very tired. Let Telalovic out on Loan Ennis as a back up. Bring in a striker. Carter to be honest i never quite got he hype would rather Wharton or Hill there. Wingers we need to get rid of all of them bar Arnor Siggy -
Bit harsh some of comments Semir I don’t think he has been awful Just needs time people are always hit or kisses from the get go. Sammie is a good one to remember. I remember fans writing him off last season that Dack should be starting ahead. Those same fans are now cheering his goals 🤣
-
Random question is it me or does JDT look more relaxed playing with no expectations?

I do like James Hill I can hear him barking a mile away

roverstdt replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Frustrated…there is a basis of a good team there but you can’t keep cutting and changing and expect to perform. The warning sides were there when Waggot said consolidate and stay in the league. There is absolutely no long term planning at this club. I feel for JDT he deserves way more than what he is getting. The young players deserve support we have some talent there in the likes of Wharton. We will get better I believe as the young talent learn. I understand as well owners can have finance issues, but Venkys have always been short term and reactive rather than pro active. The fault lies with Waggot, Pasha, Gregg, Venkys. They are the decision makers and they are the ones who should have done better. Let’s not forget the money from Rothwell and Diaz we could have got! We would kill for that today -

Was at the game at the weekend and i actually think we have a decent defense just our midfield goes absent in a big way. Wharton to me provides nothing defensively. He just seems to jog about, while I would like to see him get more stuck in. Pears needs to be dropped to cup keeper. I think when he is on it, he is a decent keeper, but you just know he has an error in him. I would rather try Leo. I think the formation needs to change as well. A 4 3 3 would be interesting. With JRC Wharton Travis Sammie Leonard Arnor I think it would add a little more protection to the defense -
Hi Rovers! Heading to the Leicester Game and would like to offer 2 adult tickets and 2 children prior to my order for a family who may be struggling to go to games. Could someone help me find someone they may know. E-mail Rovers trust prior to season tickets but never got an answer. I documented my experience with the club. So just a small gesture for just my second trip to Ewood Park in 30 years!

Quite harsh Telalovic not player, Sigurdsson neither, Ennis has actually been alright, Hill as targetted by Barcelona, Leonard barely started yet, Pickering very dependable left back. I agree that Pears, Hedges, Dolan, S.Wharton, Gallagher, the rest way too early to say... -

You can't win every match reality is: JRC, Hill, Telalovic, Ennis, Sigurdsson all out and Hyam small injury. Shame to lose against a team we should beat, but it has happened before and it will happen again. On to the next one! -
Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
roverstdt replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Bemusing to me people who say Pears has out performed or form doesn't count for anything. Pears has been an improvement on his own performances previously. He isn't anywhere near TK level at all. The only reason why I would potentially keep Pears in goal is that i would rather have an average keeper and invest in other parts of the pitch. -
Sale Wharton for 15m or so i will be happy get the cash for Raya if he is sold as well. I would actually sale either Kaminski or Pears I like both and don't mind who is in Goal
