  1. I gave up on that game as soon as City went 2 up. Wolves v Coventry was good TV and pleased that it wasn't decided by Simms dodgy first goal.
  2. And for Rovers fans: ....And Justice for All
  3. I can't get past the 1983 studio album....
  4. A good point. If other scores hold we move up to 17th. We road our luck a bit but good effort although Brittain was away with the fairies and the subs, Dolan apart, were a hindrance.
  5. Stroud, no words can express my opinion on this piece of dog excretement.
  6. Other scores at HT going out way so far.
  7. A blend of Ena, Martha and Minnie and there you have Siggy Hairnet
  8. So just above the elbow is not handball even when the body is moved to create the contact. They make it up as they go along. The Jock commentator is a total dick.
  9. I draw hope from my belief that we do have quite a few decent players and are better than our form since December indicates. But it's a results business, especially so at the arse end of a season when in trouble. We need to get wins, we are going to lose a few of the games left and draws in others may not be enough. I have no idea how today will go but hopefully we don't lose.
  10. JE has failed to do as well as the other teams around us at the bottom of the table. Since his arrival we've dropped a place and the gap to the bottom 3 has gone from 7 points to just 3. That is the important issue. If the current trend of results and points accumulation of us and others is not moved in our favour then we get relegated.
  11. Sammie is being sold whether or not he gets an international cap. The club will be pleased as it can add value. Fire sale coming in a few months. But 1 get 1 free.
  12. We had a few of those nutters back in the 60s. One ran the senior prefects as his Private army. In those days it was good to have an older brother with a good punch and older lads from the village who were up for a scrap.
  13. Sammie is back in the RoI squad and well up for it. Good luck!👍
  14. Bloody hell, that was good. Luke is on form too. Come on Nathan!
  15. Thank you for your concern. I, indeed we, appreciate it. I saw what he did and what he wanted to do to you. He is Maggott the Rat, total vermin.
  16. He was "one of our own" to Brum fans but they also considered him to have been treated poorly by the new owners. He'd done ok the previous season and they got their highest points tally in 7 years and safe. This season after 11 games and in 6th position the owners sacked him citing they wanted "a winning mentality and a culture of ambition" across the club. That is a damming statement for owners to issue when sacking the manager/ coach. It's probably what put him on Rovers short list as a JDT replacement. Brum then appointed Rooney and then Mowbray proving that some just never learn.
  17. I don't expect any points away to Boro. If we get a single point v Ipswich it will be something at least. Our best hope is those currently below or near us do worse than us. Relying on others misfortune is a sad way to go in any venture
  18. HT stats in Bournemouth v Luton. Luton lead 0-3. They do have a good keeper ...
  19. It will be an almost a miracle* if we get even a single point at Boro, but it's a benefit to us that Boro beat Brum. *We do have Sammie, miracles are possible ....
  20. I came across this in depth analysis on YouTube which I found informative and it contains interesting stats and information. The betting odds are pre Brum v Boro.
  21. He really needs professional help with PR. With SWAG as his mentor he's primed to fail.
  22. I said "if you recruit from the scrap heap you get rubbish" for a reason. Now that I've corrected the auto speller typo!
  23. In his first 7 games Mowbray had 2 wins and 5 draws. This was followed by 3 defeats. That season in 15 games he had 5 wins, 7 draws and 3 defeats. We won the last 2 games v Villa whose fans cheered for us wanting Brum relegated and v Brentford who were sunbathing. Those results distort imo what was actually happening. Mowbray was also stuffed by the German crook chucking the game Hudds v Brum. The draws at Burton and later at Wolves and the home defeat to Barnsley screwed us. I make that a haul of 22 points from a possible 45. I was against Mowbray from day 1, on the basis that if you recruit from the scrap heap you get rubbish, but he and we were unfortunate to be relegated with 51 points. Eustace has still got to win a game! Damien ran the Stoke game, that view has been endorsed by the LT and other sources. If Eustace can get a total of 22 points from all the games that he will be in charge of this season he will be acclaimed, rightly, as a miracle worker and save us from relegation. He won't get 22 points. Relegation, not over till it's over, so many permutations of results are possible but ours is probably the hardest run in so the odds are stacked against us
  24. My 3 minute rule actually just worked.
