Apparently Carragher has done quite well in defensive midfield in the past for the U-21 squad.

They showed a goals of the season show here right after the season ended (don't remember who finished first) and it was the only one that made both Mrs American and I sit up and go "Holy schnikes!"

Disagree about Howard, I thought he was shaky and got caught off his line a couple of times. If we were playing any teams in our group he would have paid for it. Convey was spectacular and I'm looking forward to the possibility of he and Lewis down the left, moving DMB over to the right. All Prem fans will get to see how good he is next season.

We didn't have a chance against Portugal 4 years ago, either... If Convey and/or Dempsey play, we can win the group. Our backup squad that started last night looked great.
