One interesting comment I heard on Fox Sports World Report was that he almost did too good a job saving it. They said he got over there too quickly, which is why it was able to deflect back in front of goal. Had he been a little slower, he would have been able to push it wide.

We could also assume that if a deal is not made Barry will still be a professional and give his all out on the pitch. I don't see him not doing that, so I don't think he would need to rot in the reserves. I've asked for a transfer to a different office in the past and been turned down, but it doesn't mean I don't work as hard. Strip the captaincy? yes. Have him rot in the reserves? no.

I now look at it this way. We payed 1 million plus Yorke and Tiny for Savage. If you look at it like that it is a great deal. If you look at it as we paid 3 million, not a great deal, but not a terrible one. I'm just worried about the age and length of contract.
