[Archived] West Ham United V Brfc 3 - 1 Wham

F****** disgrace, what a load of overpaid puffs, what happened to all our solid defensive performances, the players owe us big time next week against Fulham who don't sound to be playing to bad from todays performance. -

Well the title is definatly going to Stamford Bridge so thats that one over with. As for the bottom three its gonig be any three of the following as i feel their squads juts are not up to it. Sunderland-(Struglling to score but could be alright if Steady clicks into gear) Wigan-(Full of cash...No one wants to sign for them) West Brom-(Now That they have lost Richardson) West Ham-(Living on past glory) Fulham-(Really gonig to miss Van Der Sar & Cole) Portsmouth-(Robert may be hassle then he's worth) -
[Archived] Craig Bellamy - Good Signing Or Not?

I also would like to know what exactly is wrong with Bellamy, because the club has been given mixed signals about the extent of his injury. Just after either the 1860 or Mallorca match didn't Sparky say if the game had been tommorrow Craig would have played some part of that match. I am really hoping he is fit for the West Ham game otherwise were going to have the same squad as last season minus three players and only the addition of Kuqi. -

Greggyk is right we do always lose to West Ham away, last time we played them there Yorke put us ahead only for Di Canio (I Think) to score twice to beat us. But new season, fresh optomism and i am going to go for West Ham United 2-3 Blackburn Rovers Scorers West Ham United-Sheringham Zamora Blackburn Rovers-Kuqi -Reid -MGP -
I would have gone yesterday apart from the fact that i am learning to drive and i live in Hull, i could have got three trains to Blackburn but i thought instead of spending my money on a friendly, i thought i'd put it towards a train fare to London and a overnight stay so i could watch us hammer West Ham, sorry about the pun.

West Ham should be looking quite fit for Saturday, because didn't they play extra time and penalities against someone like Osasuna yesterday and won. I hope Bellamy is fully fit for Saturday because West Ham are not a bad side even though they have just got promoted. -

These Spaniards are well out of order, its a friendly not a competitive match. Maybe they have heard our players like a physical game and they thought that they'd push the boundaries out for us. Still not on though. Hope Matty is fine. -
Why give Kuqi the number 9 shirt, we could have given it to Matty, he will be a force to be reckoned with later this season, when he regains his infamous form of 2001.

Bring on The Hammers, i'd love us to win heavily but for very selfish reasons, my next-door neighbour is a Hammer. Great preview Ozzie. Unfortunatly it's Roversworld for me. B -

i'd like to hear how he played because a club cannot have enough good young talent in its squad. -

Isn't he just resting a lot of our players for the espanyol game? He better be cause i'm getting scared with West Ham away only a week and a bit away. -
Too right. What is he playing at, is he trying to destroy Newcastle, he brought in a centre half he is very over-rated and an old player who he's only brought in as no-one else wanted him, well enough to sign him anyway. He says he wants to sign Michael Owen for Newcastle but if i were Owen, i'd stay well clear, Newcastle are going no where under Souness this season.

Is Bellamy still injured?? Not happy about Gally being played on the wing, but its all match practise for him before the season. Looking forward to hearing how this aussie trialist does. -

I am up for anything that brings back the atmosphere to Ewood, if it means standing, i would not object to it. Its great to be at a match were you leave it with hardly any voice left. But then again after every Blackburn match, i have no voice left from shouting at the ref or players. -

Kevin Davies-What a waste of cash he was. Graeme Souness-Very greatful for what he did for us in getting us back in the Premiership and leading us to cup glory but since he left i have realised what an arrogant prat he is. Diouf-No need to even justify this one. Bir"MING"ham City-They think there a big team, when really they ain't. The "Big" Three-They think just because they have more fans, more success and more money then everyone else they are better then the rest. They don't have the passionate supporters us "Lesser" teams have. -

Isn't there a risk of also motivating the opposition with some of these suggestions which is the last thing we need. I'm still going with the "I Predict a riot" people. -
If i am totally honest, i vould give a flying **** what pundits think of our club, were the ones who go and watch them week in, week out and we kind of have the right to rant and rave about our own club. I would rather watch us battering the hell out of Arjen Robben and staying in the Premiership, then us being the tippy-tappy football and getting relegated. I love the fact that our players are prepared to go in where it hurts to win a game for us, i love the commitment from the vast majority of our squad. People are only looking to pick on us because were not the ordinary, we don't conform with the rest. I would love us to play good football but as long as it means success for us and the players give 100% every week but until then if it means occassionally hurting a few opposition players i am happy.
-
Nice bet, easy £50 for you there. Wigan will probably get bigger crowds then us for the first five weeks of the season but once they are rock bottom, the crowds will slowly become smaller and smaller until one man and his dog is watching, like last season.

Gav, i have to agree with all of your points there. I think coming out to "I Predict A Riot" by Kaiser Chiefs would be great, it would get the team going for sure. Might get Savage & The Axe man up for it a bit too much though and start a riot. -
[Archived] Craig Bellamy - Good Signing Or Not?
ihtd replied to Modi's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
very, very happy, Craig has signed. The people who don't want him here should be quiet and let us see what he does for us, if he is a failure for us, then get on his back, until then just wish him all the best. He doesn't need us to like him for his personality, we only want him to put the ball in the back of the net, not solve world poverty. Great signing by the board and its a risk, but if it pays off we'll all be worshipping Williams for years. -
Bye Bye Amoruso, Bye Bye He hit a nice freekick but he didn't do much else.

Football is a physical sport isn't it? I think that it is a disgrace that Todd has been charged with violent conduct when he didn't even see Van Persie until it was too late. I am so fed up of players going down like they have been shot, diving and play-acting needs to be irradicated from the game otherwise its going to get like the pantomine
-
I don't blame anybody for the 3rd goal as it was just a good goal and they are a better team then us but we gave it a shot and we just weren't good enough on the day. Did any of you guys notice the sniper in the crowd, because those arsenal players went down like they had been shot whenever any of our players went near them. I enjoyed the day, and i thought our fans were brilliant and no bias being shown there. They might have had more fans than us but they didn't make the noise we made, they only sang when they were winning, we sang when we were three down. Hopefully we'll be playing in the first cup final at Wembly next year!!!
