I believe that was a Sunday match and David Bradford scored a cracker in a 2-1 win. Tony Field was my hero! Those were the days!!

[Archived] Vote For New Kit For 2007-8

Definately number 3 for the away shirt. Whatever the colours, I have always believed our away strip should be halves. Red and yellow halves would be nice. -

[Archived] Pathetic Attendance
trawdenblue replied to Uddersfelt Blue's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
I think the previous three results and the performances against Chelsea and West Ham may have had something to do with it. A great attendance for the Bolton game was spoiled by a poor result - same old Rovers. I know they played well against Bolton, but they should have won. The disappointment after that game was the worst feeling ever. This was followed by a mediocre performance against Chelsea and a dire performance against West Ham. Ticket prices are not the only factor. Fans want to see a winning team whether they play well or not. Only my opinion -

Hi Neekoy, "Different", how? "Enough" of what? It's a fanzine site which relies on input from fans. Send something in that you think is "different" and I'll publish it. Cheers. -

Thanks for your input guys. I've taken everything on board and made a few changes. It's not a site for match reports, messageboards or topical discussion - BRFCS.com is THE only site for that. 4000 holes tries to be slightly different, off the wall and a bit quirky, hopefully putting a smile on fans' faces. Thanks to Bill Taylor for the first contribution! see here Any amusing stories, pictures, history would be great. I'll try to get something new on it every week. Cheers. -
Hi Guys & Gals, New 4000 Holes issue on sale at Wigan home match - 1st October. Last date for any entries into the fanzine is Sept 25th. Cheers. 4000 Holes New website

I have never bought an away shirt, always the home strip, because everybody recognises the famous halves design of Blackburn Rovers. In my opinion (maybe I'm being a bit old fashioned!), that design should feature in the away strip as well.
-
The colours aren't too clever I admit (it should be red & yellow!). Maybe red & black would be better?? I just think that the away shirt should be halves as well. Come down from your trip now Flopsy.
-
I think they have missed an oppurtunity to market the away shirt. Why can't they have halves in that too? http://uk.geocities.com/peter.anslow@btope.../pp2d4f2fc8.gif

You're right Ste, Bellamy did play against Newcastle at Ewood; a full match though. He limped off against West Brom.

Very professional document guys, well done. I particularly agree with the point about "young adult" pricing. My lad is 16 next month and he will be classed as an "adult". This is ridiculous. I bring three of his mates (1 Bolton, 1 Man u and 1 Burnley fan) to the category B games when it's only a fiver and we sit in the Darwen end. Two of these lads have also bought Rovers' shirts! Two of them are coming tonight. From next month it's going to cost them £25! I'm afraid they won't be going anymore. Where does a lad of 16/17 get £25 from? I personally think the Juniors age should be raised to 18 and that tickets should be £10 each for any category. It's an important age. We're winning over new fans then letting them go when they turn 16!
