  1. I think he has "had it" for quite a while to be fair. ...judging by his comments on recent podcasts... Also, Ryan doing a good job of sticking it to the bastard ownership on the same one.
  2. And gutted to find out it was neither...
  3. No thanks! I'd rather have Taylor Quigley (If you know, you know lol)
  4. No worries. It's not rude at all. I think it is probably time for a change in the "critical friend's" emphasis. Less tea, cakes and ices and more rigorous challenge....probably a time for public challenge too. Only my opinion, but I think the Trust must guard against bolstering the illusion, purveyed by Waggott et al. that the club are making an honest attempt at progression/promotion etc. 12 years and counting. Not a single top 6 finish. A previous poster illustrated the more recent,,disturbing pattern of transfer window cock up/sabotage.
  5. And Waggott just accepts that? The Charge of the Shite Brigade! "Ours is not to reason why. Ours is but to do or die".
  6. So....that would suggest that the Raos have given Suhail and Waggott a secret, "limited" and tread-water agenda with related performance targets. As a consequence,, Waggott would merely collude and string along other stakeholders in the idea of the club wanting to progress. If it is finally agreed that "football man", former agent Waggott's game is pretend night is day, just to pick up his bonus, what would this imply for the future strategy of WATR?
  7. Thanks...That's with me just dipping in and out then getting a shock!
  8. Wow! I must have missed this. Someone saying Eustace offered to resign? Was this in the summer after keeping us up? Once again, I am getting the awful feeling that encouraging performances on the field have only ever been a distraction or even an anaesthetic for the ongoing disease, eating away at our club.
  9. I always thought Rothwell flattered to deceive. The reported Bournemouth offer for his services made selling him a no-brainer for me. How we could have strengthened, using the money! Granted, the decision would have been much easier for me, because I was far from a Rothwell fan anyway.
  10. I agreed with Mowbray, when it happened. He wanted to use the money to get Dembele, I think. Venky's were wrong. Mowbray was right.
  11. It goes with Parker's behaviour at the end. Stay classy..
  12. Yeah, very different to More's portrayal in the film.. "Doctor, who is going to tell him?" "Actually, I was rather hoping you would.."
  13. Blimey..next they'll be saying he is being played by Kenneth More lol
  14. Well, I thought it was all a bit tacky and tasteless really. With all their comparative riches, only craping through against an injury ravaged team...then celebrating like they had just won the Champions League... As Mr Dylan might have put it.."Sometimes I wonder what it's gonna take to find dignity.." ( spot my coping mechanism)
  15. Apparently, Sky reporting WBA want Eustace. If it happens, it will be in the next couple of days, given the gap before the next league game..
  16. A haunting phrase from Summer 1975..." I've taken them, as far as I can.."
  17. "Blackburn, they play crap every week, but still win.." Jack Charlton, manager, Sheffield Wed.
  18. I guess-to really understand it-you have to compare this to the ebb and flow of attendance nationally...
  19. A prize for getting those two names in the same sentence!
  20. Yeah..this was where I came in...Christmas 1969 the death spiral of all death spirals, following the departure of Keith Newton. Re not backing the manager etc, I clearly remember the fans chanting "Spend some money of f**** off!" at Bill Fox and co...
