  1. In other words, no ambition, no hope...no point...
  2. They are taking the piss-playing us for fools. But- like most fans- I do have to admit that I find a few enjoyable performances and results act like an anaesthetic....
  3. I have concluded that if we are in a good position in January, the current regime will merely sabotage the situation.....again.
  4. On Radio Lancs Dolan getting stick for being headless, running into trouble, not looking up. "No place for a fizzy bottle of pop in the middle of the field".
  5. Elephant's memory, eh? It's like me, when I read the recent headlines from Phil Jones about how much he loves Rovers. After his departure ( which did have a bit of a whiff about it), he said it was the worst day of his life, when Rovers won at Old Trafford with Steve Kean! So forgive me if I can't get past the first sentence in the article about him...
  6. Away kit sweatshirt was waiting for me after my holiday. Looks great. Very happy with it.
  7. Wow! Never seen that before. Thanks for posting. Wonderful! And, of course, I second that emotion. FOV!
  8. Imagine the transfer window clock ticking, as we try to get Martial Godo over the line....Elliot Jackson could be in with the best ever Rovers related headline.."Rovers waiting for Godo"...
  9. I guess that's a key reason for giving him the job, in the first place. He is an ex player, so the "others" think he will bring populist credibility for their fucking dreadful ownership.
  10. I just watched it back after reading this and it doesn't make a good watch. He is still raging with his back to the game, when the ball comes back to where he would have been...
  11. I remember Rovers saying that too. Not sure I believed them though...
  12. Not sure about approaching the club first. For weeks, it was all over the tabloids that he did not want to honour his contract with Rovers. This allowed the press to portray the club, as an undesirable place to work. I saw it it as giving them a stick with which to beat Rovers, in the context of press resentment that this "upstart" club had dared to topple Man Utd.
  13. How many of those posters are real? I assumed that many of them were plants! Mind you, millions voted for Trump!
  14. No, the Blackpool winger, who troubled Keith Newton that night, was Tommy Hutchinson. I think Ian was the Chelsea player with the weird throw-in technique.
  15. When I worked with County fans, they hated Burnley big time. Hard not to wish you success!
