I tell you something. Its bloody exciting this.
-
Tell my four year old he isnt allowed to come with Daddy to the football then. He'll probably batter you (he does when I tell him he can't come)

[Archived] Rovers 3 Middlesbrough 2
stuwilky replied to rog of the rovers's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Im interested in discussions about the match, not about people who come or don't come. And the title appears to be "Rovers 3 Middlesbrough 2" Not "can you compare a foreign supporter to an actual attendee" -

I didnt see a tackle Flops. I saw a professional footballer stamping on a fellow professionals calf. That was no tackle. -

A zero chance, its two yellows which cannot be overturned. Means he is dangling on 9 yellows still, and will face a two match suspension sooner or later. Unless he can last until 9th April ( i think) which is the deadline for cumulative suspensions to kick in. -

I am. But where a retailer levies an unfair and unjust charge there are very few ways round it. -

No hallucinations. Although I am concerned about your eyesight smd, there is a full page advert in the programme. You havent been mailed yet as they only announced it this week. I just hope they have got rid of that STUPID £5 charge for paying with a credit card, I do not intend to pay £15 more than I have to for my three. -
I am apologising because one of our fans made a disrespectful comment about the cause of Hillsbrough Rev. Something I find abhorrant, it was an untrue comment simply made to antagonise them, I also made reference to some people on the official board being immature (i didnt use that word, but certainly along those lines). I dont think that is disputable? I have said for months and months and months this game should be moved, it appear that Rick Parry took some time to agree with me. A sad reflection on how he runs his football club. I am entirely sympathetic to fans our both clubs who have difficulties, or financial issues because of this move.
-
Who am I appeasing? Who on there needs appeasing? My opinion has stayed the same through all of this. The game should have been moved properly ages and ages ago. Like June. Their club has cocked up, not ours. Perhaps in the eyes of some fans ours have made their first mistake by agreeing to a second change, but as I (and others) have pointed out, they were really in a no win situation. And Im not entirely sure whether I am a member of BRISA or not has to do with a personal opinion?
-
It is apparently on Sky Sports 1 speedie.
-
Sky have no 4pm match on the Sunday..... Just get it moved now, sod the 4 weeks of arseing about, the sooner its shifted the longer people have to make plans.
-
It would be fascinating if Rovers were to put the ball well and firmly back in the LFC court by going public with a statement saying "we agreed once, as requested, ages ago. you published it, our fans made arrangements. And a month later you change your mind on what you want? tough."
-
Im hardly surprised. When these people have no reply they simply say "have you no respect". If thats the best you can come up with mate. If you dont want to play, then dont play. 3 points in the bag will do us nicely.
-
I dont disagree with you. Although as a Rovers fan I think you are being incredibly naive about the way the press will receive this. you know as well as I do that they are not actually interested in facts. this is big club hard done to Liverpool agaist little old dirty Blackburn Rovers. Whatever the facts of the matter are is irrelevant will will be portrayed as the bad guys.
-
Come on Rev, its already been said here. Liverpool requested the fixture be moved a month ago, we agreed immeditely to Liverpools request and the details were published. People acted on that. Now Rick Parry has changed his mind because he doesnt communicate with his fans effectively, and made a second request. You arent seriously telling me that Rovers are in fact able to refuse this, we simply cannot win. If we refuse it we will always be the team who refused to honour the dead of Hillsbrough. The press would have a field day.
-
krislu If it changes investigate the additional cost to change the flight etc and fax them to Rick Parry at Liverpool FC. I think it wholly reasonable to wait for the match to be moved once, it could happen for any reason...Sky blahdy blahdy blah. But once it has been confirmed by both clubs moving it again due to LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUBS request. Any change should be compensated by them.

You appear to indicate that Grooby isnt on the board Manc. We all know he is.
-
I could do, but I wont bother doing it exactly, simply because you buy a Young Adult Season ticket, which would mean buying an adult match day ticket. So for the adult youve saved around £100, for the young adult youve saved atround £300, and given that the average child ticket this season has been about £8 youve saved about £60 on that. So close to £500 saved for the three of you.

Aggy, where do you sit, and what category of ST do you buy?
