  1. If the ticket office staff couldnt think of an innovative solution, perhaps Jan could have offered one to them?
  2. Or you could have got tickets when they went on sale. Like the rest of us did. Oh well, some people are never happy.
  3. But an extra £400k in the bank.
  4. Not according to this. http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/News/Stor..._919989,00.html
  5. A great example is BRFC's very own online shop - who charge £3 per number and 50p per letter - which effectively halves the cost of numbering. Those costs used to be available in store until SWI took over.
  6. I sincerely hope that the powers that be at Ewood check the rule book. 15% off capacity with NO sale or return.
  7. Once the ticket office get a bit of a lull from the many home games we have on sale at the moment. I suspect they will go on sale w/c 9th jan.
  8. Your own fault for living in dirty Yorkshire.
  9. Hughesy. It wasn't fine at 5pm. It was like an ice rink. As said earlier, I watched Friedal skating around on it in his boots. If anyone thought that pitch was fit at 5pm they really should be looking for different groundstaff (and I dont think they are.) Actual phone call "is the game on" "yes" Better phoen call "is the game on" "yes, but there is a pitch inspection at 6pm"
  10. you were sober at half seven abbs!!
  11. I live 8.3 miles from Ewood. It wasnt enough notice. in fact I watched both pitch inspections. Apology accepted.
  12. I quite agree with the last statement, and as one of a handful of people who had arrived at the ground (there were more Sunderland fans than Rovers....) can sympathise with people who arrived. And perhaps there is an opportunity at the rearranged match for some promotion. Although free away travel and free match tickets are very expensive!!! But possibly a discount on next ticket purchase? a tenner off another home game?
  13. What would you like them to do? Purely out of interest?
  14. For the record I was watching the pitch inspection from the 500 club lounge and if Mr Dowd wasnt wearing studs he was managing to stay on his feet rather well. WE arrived at 515pm and watched Brad scating around in the centre circle wearing his boots, there was no way that match was on.
  15. Its brilliant thinking. Finally wont have to pay the sodding booking charge for cup tickets. And Ill be there at about 445 so hopefully not much of a que.
  16. possibly due to semin final tickets going on sale today?
  17. My car. To Wigan. To Park. For the day and night.
  18. Im sorry that made me laugh. "Lies, Damn lies, and statistics"
  19. They've been at Ewood twice since then 3-3 in the cup and 0-0 in the league.
  20. He has been quoted in a Norwegian paper as saying he is being rested today, but back on Wednesday.
  21. Just come on for me.
  22. Doesnt generally start until almost kick off.
  23. Den you are quite right. But as competition rules prohibit us from simply naming our price, it has to be agreed with the away club. Considering we are charging them £32 for the league game, £25 is a reasonable effort!
